YANG JEONGIN POV

Today was the day. That I finally ask her to officially be mine. I was thinking about it all day long, as soon as I woke up from bed. I was nervous but also confident; I knew she was going to accept me, but I still couldn't help but feel a little anxious.

She's been looking way happier these past few days, especially after we talked everything out. I've been so happy, too; being able to show her my love and prove that I really do love her the way I tell her. Things were finally going back to the way it was and I was stoked.

My heart felt so much happier, so much lighter. Right now, Y/N was taking a shower earlier in the afternoon. We ate breakfast already and we were just in the living room together, watching Korean dramas again.

The hyungs were out, buying groceries; so it was only Y/N and I in the house, which was perfect. I could confess to her feeling 100% comfortable, and I was even happier knowing that. I still don't know when to actually confess and ask her, though.

I keep overthinking about it, I was internally freaking out because I didn't know about the right time to do it. Maybe I'll wait till later tonight, so it's more romantic.. or something.. I don't know!! I'm freaking out!!

The doorbell suddenly rang. Curious to see who it is, I walk over to the door and open it.. to see Haeyoung. I immediately tense up, giving her a cold glare. I hear Y/N quietly come down the stairs, hiding behind the door.

"Do you need something?" I ask Haeyoung coldly.

"Can we talk?" She asks me.

"About?" I ask her impatiently.

"Can I come inside first?"

"No." I flat out say.

"Jeongin, what's wrong? You've been ignoring me since that kiss, you even blocked me on everything!"

"Is it because of that girl Y/N? Did she do something?"

"Y/N didn't do anything. What do you want, Haeyoung?" I glare at her.

"Oppa... what's wrong? I know you like me back! Let's date." She says in her high pitched voice.

"I already have someone I love." I shake my head.

"Who? Who??!!"

"Her name is Kwon Y/N."

"What??? You're back with her?? I'm way better than her, Jeongin!"

"No one's better than Y/N."

"But I am!! I'm way better than her!! Be with me instead! We can keep it a secret!" She squeaks.

"Please, Jeongin. I know you love me! I love you, be with me! I won't tell anyone!"

She suddenly throws herself onto me and I push her off, but not too rough. I glare at her with anger.

"I told you, I already love Y/N!" I exclaim angrily.

"You're making a mistake being with her again. She wasted your time the first time, why be with her again?? You're better off with me! I have the money, the looks, everything!"

"Unlike you, I actually care about personality and how a person acts. Y/N is perfect for me." I grit my teeth.

"She's a bitch, Jeongin!! Why be with her when you can be with me? You're being dumb right now, Yang Jeongin!!"

"Be with me instead, I beg! I've loved you for years, we dated when we were little, I'm meant to be with you, and you know it!!"

"Jeongin, please, let's date. Be with me, I like you so much. No, not like. I love you so much, Jeongin. Be with me!!" She stomps her feet.

"I'm with Y/N, you fool. You're pathetic. Don't come to my house again, I'm not answering."

I shut the door on her, locking the door quickly. Y/N comes out, looking at me with a big satisfied smile. I smile back, giving her a big hug.

"I missed you, dummy." I pout.

"I've been gone for twenty minutes, you idiot." She laughs at me.

"So?? I still missed you!" I exclaim.

"She just doesn't stop, does she.." she refers to Haeyoung.

"It's okay. Me slamming the door in front of her will show her. She's just desperate for attention." I hug Y/N tighter.

"Stop hugging me so tight!!" She yells out.

"But I missed you!!!!!" I yell back.

"I've been gone for 20 minutes!!"

"20 minutes is a long time!!! I wish I could've been in the shower with you so I can see you!!"

"W-wait.. n-not like that!!" I stutter.

"I just want to be with you every second" I pout.

"Let me shower in peace, idiot." She giggles.

"But I miss you all the time~" I coo.

"Maybe that's cause you're a little too obsessed.." she deadpans.

"So what if I'm obsessed! I'm obsessed with being with you!!" I giggle happily.

I let go of her, standing in front of her. I grab her hands and hold them while looking her in the eyes.

"Y/N." I softly say.

"Hmm?" She hums.

"Can I say something?" I say.

"Of course. Say it." She listens to me.

"I love you," I begin. "I love you so much. You're the one for me. I'm so happy with you," I smile at her.

"Please be my girlfriend." I say to her.

"J-Jeongin.." she blushes.

"I need you to be mine, please be mine officially." I get red as well.

"I'm yours. I'm yours, Jeongin."

My heart skips a beat, and I pull her in for a passionate kiss. She kisses back, then I pull away.

"I promise I'm getting married to you."
