THIRD PERSON POV

After some convincing from his hyungs, Jeongin finally had the courage to go and apologize to Y/N, and at least attempt to explain himself to her. He knew he had no luck, he knew she wouldn't forgive him.

But he wanted her to know he was sorry. He walked slowly up to her room, anxious and nervous. He stops at her front door and stares at it for a while, hesitating.

"Just do it, you already lost her" he thought to himself.

"Don't be a coward! Say sorry to her, you hurt her again."

"What should I say to her? She hates me"

"She completely hates me and I understand, why am I saying sorry anyway?"

"No, I should still say sorry. It's only right."

"But what if we start arguing again?"

"She's clearly mad, she's going to lash out"

"Damn, what should I do? Should I really talk to her?"

"No, I need to. She deserves an apology."

He takes a deep breath and knocks on her room; no response. He decides to just come in, and he sees Y/N sitting on the edge of her bed, her back facing him while staring at the wall.

He gulps and closes the door behind him. He stands there, still having no idea what to say.

"Y/N, it's me. Jeongin." He speaks up after a few long minutes.

He gets no response from her, she's completely blank.

"I'm sorry-"

"Get out." she interrupts him.

"Y/N, just let me apologize and explain to you." He pleads with her.

"I know it was wrong of me to invite her over, I know-"

"Then why would you?" She stands up, looking at him with fiery in her eyes.

"To hurt me, right?" She chuckles bitterly.

Jeongin gulps, his heart aching seeing her so evidently hurt.

"I didn't mean to hurt you, Y/N.." he mumbles.

She laughs, not believing her ears.

"Yes you did. You brought someone over who completely picked on me for no reason, someone who insulted me so many times, someone who called me names for no reason! You let her come over!" Y/N exclaims angrily.

"You don't know how much you disrespected me by letting her come over." She whispers, tears rolling down her cheeks.

His heart wrenches seeing those tears fall down her cheeks while she's looking at him with utter devastation and hurt in her eyes.

"I'm sorry." Is all he could say.

"You tell me you want to be with me, then you do this. You meant to hurt me, you meant bringing her over."

"Y/N, please.." his voice cracks.

"Please what? Please forgive you for screwing me over, again?" Her eyes widen since she was so angry.

Distraught, Jeongin stood there just frozen. He really had no explanation as to why he did what he did, besides wanting to get revenge.

"Y/N, I didn't know she was going to kiss me." He says to her.

"I don't care if she kissed you, I don't care about that. Just the fact you even brought her over just to hurt me and get revenge really ruins something in me." More tears are rolling down her cheeks.

He was absolutely speechless, he didn't dare to say anything else because she was completely right about everything.

"Get out. Just, get out." She says to him after a long period of silence.

He couldn't move, his legs felt all frozen up. He gulped, tears rolling down his cheeks at this point as well.

"Y/N, I.." his throat clumps up.

"Don't even bother saying sorry." She chuckles bitterly.

"I know I messed up, I know you won't ever forgive me, but just hear me out! I was angry! I was angry you didn't want to get back with me! I was angry I left you over a stupid misunderstanding I had! I was angry you didn't want me back! I'm seriously angry I lost you and I can't get you back." Jeongin yells.

"You left me.. over a misunderstanding?" She couldn't believe her ears once again.

"I told you, I thought you were dating Hyunjin!"

"No matter how angry you are," she begins. "You should at least have the decency and respect me enough to know that Haeyoung should've never came over."

"Why don't you want to get back with me, Y/N? Just why! Tell me why you don't want to be with me!" He shouts.

"Because of things like this." Her voice cracks again. "Because you try to hurt me when you don't get things your way, when you don't have it the way you want. You try to get revenge on me because I don't want what you want."
