𝓢TELLA awoke to someone softly twirling her brown locks in between their fingers, her eyes trying their hardest to remain closed as she finally rubbed them and made sense of the figure before her. "JJ?" She whispered, finally positioning herself so she was properly lying on her side. He gave her a smile and removed his hand whilst Stella furrowed her brows.
She knew she should be panicking, she should be home with her family, knowing for a fact she was safe. Except, she wasn't. Without taking her eyes off of JJ she knew exactly where she was. "Are you okay?" He whispered to her, confused as to why she was staring at him hopelessly.
"No...what about you?" She responded, her voice had clearly gone back to normal despite her exhaustion. JJ ignored her and brushed his fingers against her forehead, the girl wincing slightly as he widened his eyes. ("What's wrong, Stell,") He asked. "Nothings wrong," She shrugged.
"Why are you lying to me— you've not lied to me since—" He sighed and finally sat up as she tucked hair hair behind her ears and followed his moves. ("I know, but if I say it now it might come true,") She creased her lips into a thin line. "Do you love Rafe— or, D'Terra?" He couldn't help but ask.
Stella widened her eyes and suddenly snorted, laughing until JJ realised how loud she was and put his hand over her mouth. "No. No— I don't love them," She smiled. "What about you— do you love Kiara?" She shrugged.
JJ raised his brows and pulled his head back, almost as if he was both offended and confused whilst Stella only tugged the sides of her lips into a small smile. "Why would I love Kie?" He asked her and finally returned back to his normal posture.
"I don't know," She responded. When non of them said anything else, it gave Stella time to focus on the loud commotion outside. She took one glance out the window and narrowed her eyes at a tree, the whole thing looked as if it was going to snap off the ground and fly away. "We should sleep," She sighed, turning back to already see JJ passed out.
The girl smiled to herself and pursed her lips, lying back down beside the boy. Stella closed her eyes and tried to tune out the loud wind outside, only to feel JJ's arms soon slither around her small frame.
