▪️Acacia POV▪️

I woke up the same way I did yesterday forgetting to close those bloody curtains and feeling the heat of another body who makes me the happiest person in the world, remembering Becker's confession brought a smile to my face as I lay on his chest and our legs entwined.

Listing to Becker's heartbeat raise rapidly underneath me showing that he's awake.

Not wanting to get up I move so that I'm fully lying on Becker hiding my face in the crook of his neck.

"What's wrong?" he asked me his voice raspy.

"I don't want to get up" I mumble into his neck knowing that he can't understand me.

"What was that?" he asked again.

"I don't want to get up" I said again lifting my head to look at him.

"Why?"

"Your comfy and warm" I tell him lying my head back down.

"I know what will get you up" he said rolling us over so I'm underneath him.

"Wha-" before I could finish he places his hands on my waist and digs his fingers tickling me.

"P-ple-ease" I managed to say trying not to scream even though Connor is down the hall he can still hear us.

"B-becker S-stop" I laughed.

But he continues to tickle me laughing at me.

My laughter is always a kind of laughter, it is as song to a bird and comes in happy moments, it is the sound of my soul, something that comes when the smile of my eyes overflows into the air. So when you hear my giggles my soft expressions of joy I'm fully at ease.

▪️Becker's POV ▪️

Looking down at Thalia seeing the redness in her cheeks as her breathing comes out uneven as I stopped tickling her.

She always said she hated her laugh, but every time I hear her giggling through her nose, snorting adorably, I fall more in love with her.

Her hands are running up and down my back feeling the scars and bumps I have from training or in the field.

Her eyes were a brilliant hazel, when she was jovial they were warm, lively, and sparkled with mirth and when she was downcast they seemed to grow dim and dark, the smooth black on the edge contrasted beautifully with the amber colour in the middle, capturing my heart as I down gazed at her.

As I gazing down at her I let my guard down so she was able to flip us over and walk over to her mirror.

I sit at the edge of the bed my grey joggers riding low on my hips I know that Thalia has definitely noticed, standing up and walking over to her.

Wrapping my arms around her waist looking at us in the mirror, being six feet one I'm a foot taller than her making her five feet one the top of her head barely reaches my collar bones, my body is nearly the double of her, my shoulders are nearly the same size of my hips but are slightly larger and despite her having wide hips my body still mange to be twice the size of her. From seeing photos of her family, I know my height won't bother her as they're six feet or taller, it just seems that Thaila has taken the height from her mother.

"Becker are you ok?" her voice brings me out of my daydream.

Just before I was about to answer her phone cut me off and not a second later mine joins in.
