3.3 Little Diggers II

▪️Acacia POV▪️

Getting thrown to the ground isn't pleasant it doesn't matter if it's carpet or concrete, groaning in pain I knew there with be scratches on my knees and bruises where the clone grip was.

"What the hell is going on?" Connor asked.

"Helen has taken over the ARC, what the hell is Cutter doing?" Lester demand.

"That's not him there's two" Connor said.

"Two versions of Cutter sounds like some type of nightmare" Lester said sarcastically.

Suddenly a loud crash of people fighting could be hired from outside the door, then there was a loud thud of a body hitting the door which was opened by our captain as he dragged the body of the limp guard inside.

His hair was slightly messy from its neatly gelled comb to superman's curl.

But he looked, prefect

As I was close to the door he placed his hand on his usual place. "Everyone alright?" he asked.

"Well," Lester drawled "Helen has taken over the ARC".

"I know the place is crawling with her people" he frowned.

"How many people have you got with you?" Lester asked.

"Just me" Becker breathed "should be enough" amusement in his voice.

Connor turned to the computer in front of him and takes out the CD.

"Becker we need to get this to the PA system" Connor rushed as he gets up from the chair.

"What is it?" Becker questioned, "doesn't matter, you come the rest of you stay here".

As Becker goes towards the door Lester asks "take Acacia with you".

"No" I stated, "it's probably best if it's just them two".

Both men nodded as Becker and Connor ran off.

▪️5 minutes later▪️

"Do you think they've made it?" Sarah asked.

"We'll soon find out" Abby sighed.

Lester shouted in alarm from behind us, we turned to see Lester in a headlock by the now awake guard.

"James!" Jenny shouted as Lester went limp in the guard's arms which caused Jenny to run forward only to be thrown into the floor by the guard which let Lester slump to the ground, Abby was the first of us two do jump in only to be thrown a few punches with some power only to be thrown into the cabinets.

I immediately jumped in action and ran to the guard who I quickly sidestepped his punches and kicks as he was about to do the same moves on me like Abby, he immediately left himself open by doing this allowing me to sucker punch his face but it's like he didn't feel the pain and backhand me causing my lip to split and forcing me to turn away which I used to do a roundhouse kick to his face which made the guard go back into the wall his head smashing against the wall but he quickly shook his head a charged at me.

I waited for the last minute before diving between his legs surprising him and doing another roundhouse kick, which he fell to the floor but again he was getting up quickly, taking all of us by surprise Lester had woken up and delivered the last punch to the guard knocking him out again.

Looking up to see Lester pull out his comb and put his hair back in place as well as his tie.

"Insurance" he stated.
