"So, to sum up we're looking for a psychopath from Victorian England who can drive a car and seems perfectly at home in the 21st century" Lester said sitting back behind his desk, as if it was a natural thing.
Emily and I sat in the chairs in front of Lester while Matt leaned against the wind and Becker in front of the door.
"Emily, you said he was from 1902?" Becker asked which Emily nodded "if so, perhaps he's got a police record, I could do some digging around".
"Ok, Becker you track this Ethan character" Lester tells him.
"Hang on" I say making the other four look at me "Emily you defiantly know that you were born in 1840 and went missing in 1860 but Ethan never told you were he came from? And you just assumed that he was from 1902?"
"He didn't tell anyone were he was from and we did just assumed he was from 1902" Emily confirmed.
"So he could have been born in the 20th century, a lot of places are different because of WW1 and WW2 but if he was born after he would know the area really well, even if some land marks are gone, there is even a possibility that he got his drivers licence before disappearing".
"That's a possibility" Matt says.
"And who says his real name is Ethan, he could have a fake name, he could be pretending to be someone else and there has to be a reason why he is here someone or something drawing him to here: house he lived in, relatives that he thinks might be alive".
"Even if Ethan is not his real name, I'm not going back without him" Emily demanded.
"Ethan's not going anywhere, when we find him, he's going straight to prison, so I suggest you re-join your friends while you've still got the chance".
"It's her decision" Matt spoke up "she should stay if she wants".
"She's right of course but if you do, I shall have to inform Philip and the minister" Lester informs her.
"What will that mean for me?" Emily askes him.
"It remains to be seen but I shan't be able to protect you any longer".
"She should stay" Matt said "she's our only real link to Ethan".
"You'd better no let her out of your sight, then".
