▪️Acacia POV ▪️
As quickly as possible we drove after them breaking through the tree line at the same time they did.
The others took the other Jeep as me, Danny and the woman overtake the herd while moving between them.
"We've got to get them to change direction" Danny muttered from the back as he stares at the Rhinos.
Continuing to increase our speed and managing to avoid colliding with any of the Rhinos or the other Jeep.
"You're insane" the woman spoke to me.
"Depends on who you ask" Danny smirked at me causing me to roll my eyes at him.
"They're too big" the woman spoke again.
"Well do you have a better idea!" I glare at her.
She begins to move things in her bag while I continue to pick up speed, she pulls out a device I haven't seen before, pressing on the screen.
"You told Johnstone you didn't know what that was" Danny glared at her.
"Get me to the campsite" she demanded.
Oh Hell no, she ain't ordering me
"What is that thing?" I growled seeing a map of anomalies light up on the screen.
"I'll explain later, just take me there now"!
Sighing as I slammed my foot down taking over the bull and towards the campsite.
Reaching the campsite in record time, everyone jumps out before I could turn the car off, the woman still pressing the screen.
"You've gotta get out of here!" Danny begins to shout at the people "get out!"
"Go, go, go!" Becker shouted raising his gun as Abby, Connor and Sarah also ran to help clear the area while I stayed with the woman not trusting her at all.
She begins to wander around with a look of concentration on her face, pointing the device in different directions before frowning and pointing it somewhere else if it didn't work.
The team managed to clear most of the people sending them fleeing in every direction but the Rhino's way some of them still in shock but are away from us.
Becker begins to fire off shots into the air giving the cue for his men to begin fire at the Rhino's causing Abby's face to drop.
"No! Becker stop!" She screamed at him as he knelt in front of me and also beings to fire.
He doesn't have a choice
The woman stopped to be left of us pointing the device at the Rhinos.
"If you're going to do something" I spat at her resting my hands on Becker's shoulders "now would be a good time".
She simply just pointed and stared at the Rhinos.
The closer the Rhino's got the more we panicked, it got to the point were Becker threw his gun and pulled me down covering me from the herd.
But he didn't have to
At the last minute, the woman pressed something on the device and opened an anomaly directly in front of her, the bull going in first and the cows followed him.
"Bloody Hell" Becker sighed as he rested his head on my shoulder.
Sighing with him, placing a hand on the back of his neck, he lifts his head with a smile only to dip his head down again placing his lips on mine before grabbing my hands with him pulling us up.
