We quickly pulled up to the garage after getting a phone call from a worried Abby explaining that her brother Jack was in the garage with the anomaly and had gotten attack from something in there.
We got out of the car and ran into the garage while Abby and Connor just pulled up, look around only to see an empty garage.
"He's not here" Sarah spoke as she stepped over Jack's bike.
"He's gone through the anomaly" Abby whispered realising what happened after seeing the closed anomaly now open "I'll have to find him".
Abby begins to walk towards the anomaly with me, Connor, Danny and Sarah following.
"I'm sure he's fine" Sarah tried to reason with Abby.
"What was he doing here anyway" Danny spoke angrily.
"I don't know" Abby shook her head "he stole my detector".
"It's your responsibility to keep that safe" Danny gritted.
"He went in my bag," Abby said slowly.
"This is going to take time to fix" both me and Connor cringed as we examined the locking device.
"What happened?" Danny asked.
"It's been run over by a car" I tell him causing Abby to sigh.
"Look we'll get him back" Danny tells Abby "Connor you stay here and get that fixed".
"No" Connor shook his head "I'm staying with Abby".
"Erm, Danny I can figure the locking mechanism out" Sarah offered walking forward.
"It just needs resetting and synchronising" Connor tells her as Abby starts to walk towards the anomaly.
"Looking this isn't some school trip, you have to wait for back up" Becker tells Abby which I agree with him we don't know what is on the other side.
"You wait if you want" she replied before stepping through.
"Abby!" Connor yells run after her.
"Connor!" I shout after him.
Not long after I followed Connor, Danny and Becker join us.
In front of us was a disaster, broken buildings, cars destroyed all on land that looks like it's floating with no life anywhere.
"Don't step backwards!" Becker said in alarmed.
We looked down to see the anomaly was placed on the very end and if we were to fall backwards we definitely weren't going to make it.
We walked forward away from the edge, turning to get a better view of the surrounding area, unable to believe what is to come.
"Where are we?" Danny whispered.
"The future" I replied.
"Our future?" Abby asked.
"How many years away?" Danny sighed.
"It's hard to say" Connor sighed back.
"Guys look at these cars" Becker called over to us as he kneels beside one "they could be centuries old".
"Or maybe not" Connor whispered.
"Looks, what we've got to do is find the kid and get out of here" Danny said as he begins to walk.
