🎵And when she's walking
She's looking so fine
And when she's talking
She'll say that she's mine🎵

-Billy Joel

Lil note: the start of this chapter may seem very.....double meaning and stuff but, personally, whenever I'm woken up horribly or when the ac isnt working, I feel the same way.

Sierra's pov:

I peel my eyes open by mustering up some of the courage I had left within me, yet somehow, I once again end up failing to do an easy task.

Sleeping had apparently drained my energy and my limbs were aching. I could barely let a breathe out of my mouth without lips shaking and leaving me in a moaning and groaning mess.

My lips were dry and chapped. My throat was as dry as the Sahara desert. And my eyes felt dehydrated enough that I wasn't able to open.

The sun was peeking through the dirty window- that I realized now, that I had to clean. The sun's rays were burning my skin and making me hiss internally at the hot temperature that was annoying me this fine morning. I tried finding a comfortable position away from the sun and in a shade in the room, but none could be found as I rolled around the whole bed, kicking the pillows away from me.

Lifting my tired arms, I gather my long hair and throw it behind me so it spread above my head. Squeezing my eyes tighter, I start fanning myself.

My shirt raised a bit, and I sighed internally as air hit a bit of my skin.

The throbbing pain in my head wasn't any help either. It kept on banging against my skull and my need to slam my head against the wall grew more than usual.

My head. God, someone help me. Did a billion bricks somehow drop onto my head?

What the hell happened last night?

All I could recall was taking in a few beers- a few harmless beers that were helping me forget about everything for one night.

All the insults.

The past.

The trouble I always get myself into.

Just one night. That was what I needed. Should've known there would've been consequences.

Groaning loudly, my breathing quickened and it was loud enough that it echoed in the room.

"Princess, you aren't some porn audio, shut the fuck up." I jump out of bed, wide eyed, but I somehow hadn't realized I was laying at the edge of the bed and fell down.

Gaaah! Stupid beers. Stupid headache. Stupid Hunter. Stupid me.

My eyes adjust to the light and surroundings, making me realize that this isn't Granny's room.
