Peter's Journal

Gamora had just woken up from a nap when she felt a shiver run through her body. She pulled the blanket more tightly around body. She took moment to figure out her surroundings. She is in her bed laying nuzzled into Peter's side with his arms wrapped tightly around her body pulling her even closer to him as he slept soundly. All of a sudden the memories from that day washed over her as she heard the soft rain outside hit the windows of the Milano. She knew the rain had subsided a little from earlier that day.

They were on this planet that had frequent and sudden rainfall so the Guardians tried to get their mission done fast. Gamora was not excited because she knew that her body started to get extremely cold when exposed to rain she was able to handle it enough to get whatever mission they were doing completed and her body mods would help through it as well. When they were on their supply run that is when she was quickly reminded of how sudden these rainfalls actually were because it just immediately started raining out of nowhere they got through it though and when they got back to the ship everybody was soaked. Peter and Gamora had gone to their room to change into fresh clothes and once Gamora did so she made sure to wrap herself in every blanket they owned. Peter liked to tease her about it but then when he offered to wrap her up tightly in his arms to be another source of heat he turned out to not be completely insufferable.

Gamora quietly tried to shift her way out of his arms and out of the many blankets she had on her. When she finally got out of everything she noticed something resting loosely in Peter's hand. It was a journal with a brown leather cover. It was no secret to Gamora that Peter had a journal he liked to write in. He would sometimes even show her some of the content that was inside the journal such as little drawings he would draw of them together or a little poem he had written about her. She was contemplating looking inside of it and she didn't think Peter would mind. So ultimately her curiosity won out and she took the book from his hand making sure not to wake him up.

When she opened it her eyes went wide at all the drawings in his book as she was flipping through the first couple pages. It was all drawings and she had to admit Peter was a pretty good artist. Then she finally got to one of his first couple journal entries and naturally stumbled upon an entry about herself.

Day 7: Me and Gamora have gotten a lot closer ever since Ronan happened and when we held the infinity stone together I felt like...I don't maybe there was some sort of connection. She didn't really trust any of us at first but then we started to get close and now we are good friends.

Gamora thought that maybe it was better if she stopped reading considering how far they have come since Ronan happen because lord knows they aren't just "good friends" anymore but her curiosity wins again and she keeps reading

Day 20: Ugh, I like Gamora so much but she is still a little skeptical about me. I always tried to do nice things for her and give her compliments and it always ends with her putting a knife to my neck. AGH, she drives me crazy sometimes but she's still my best friend.

She starts to flip ahead a few more pages reading the entries

Day 50: I'm literally dying inside I know I like Gamora more than just a friend now and I try to tell her without actually telling her. It seems she likes me back sometimes and then other times she acts like she hates me. But there is still definitely some unspoken thing going on between us. What am I even saying she is literally the deadliest woman in the galaxy and her dad is freaking Thanos how could she ever love someone like me.

Gamora swears she feels her heart stop in that moment. She never knew Peter felt this way about her then. She can't help but wonder if maybe things would've been different if they expressed their feelings for each other sooner.

At this point she doesn't even bother reading the entries that are not about her.

Day 95: Soooooo...we met this guy who claims he is my dad his name is Ego. I was talking to Gamora and she encouraged me to go check out his planet. She even brought up that dumb David Hasselhoff story I told her when I was drunk. What if he is my real dad then what about the Guardians. If it came down to it would I choose Ego or the Guardians I don't even know. But in other news GAMORA KNOWS I LIKE HER. We met this girl named Mantis when we met Ego and she has empathic abilities. She touched my hand and told me that I was in love and she pointed to Gamora and said "with her" Gamora just gave me a really shocked expression I couldn't even get myself to look at her after that.
