You hurt me

The Guardians were currently celebrating one of their wins at a bar on Xandar and Peter, Drax, and Rocket were drinking while Gamora and Mantis were sitting down at a table talking while Groot slept soundly in a cup on the table.

Before they left Peter had promised Gamora that he wouldn't drink that much and he kept his promise he only had one bottle of beer and that was it but since Gamora was watching him carefully she started to notice something strange. Peter was currently over at the opposite end of the bar as Gamora talking to some girl.

This girl looked around Gamora's age and her height was average. She had long brown wavy hair that lay perfectly on her shoulders along with deep brown eyes. Her skin color was similar to Peter's so she assumed she was probably from Terra.

Gamora was watching the two of them very closely trying not to growl at the sight of this girl who is obviously checking out her boyfriend. Shockingly though she wasn't very mad at Peter as much as she was super pissed at this girl partially because she trusted Peter enough to believe he wouldn't do anything to hurt her.

It seemed as though Peter somehow heard her inner thoughts because while they were laughing he laid his hand on her arm and held it. With that Gamora was super pissed. She picked up Groot out of the cup and held him close to her chest as she marched out of the bar.

"Gamora where are you going" Mantis asked Gamora as she marched out of the bar but Gamora just kept walking

Gamora was currently taking a hot shower as she tried to ignore the tears that were welling up in her eyes every time she thought about what just happened back at the bar.

She had just gotten out of the shower and put some clothes on when she heard a knock on the door.

"Gamora" Peter asked softly

She ignored him but he walked in on his own.

"Hey" he said as he tried to bring her into his warm embrace but she immediately broke out of his grasp and started to clean up her side of the room.

"What's wrong. Did I do something" He asked super confused trying not to make her anymore mad than she looked

"You know what you did...who was that girl" she asked

"Oh her that was just an old friend of mine. I met her while on a mission a couple years back before I met you guys...are you jealous"

"No, I am not jealous okay I just-"

She didn't finish her sentence instead she just collapsed on the bed in complete and utter defeat.

"Hey look at me"

In that moment he regretted what he said because when he first walked into their room she was very clearly pissed off but now she just looked so sad and defeated. There was complete silence for a little bit.

"You hurt me" she said as a tear escaped her eye

"Look I am so sorry I didn't mean to make it look like that. I love you more than anything in the world and I don't know what I would do without and I would absolutely never cheat on you."

Peter hadn't once looked away from Gamora when he said that but once he was finished talking he proceeded to look down at the ground and then back up at Gamora. When he looked at her he was relieved to see some light had returned back into her eyes. She gently grabbed his cheeks and kissed him gently. When Gamora pulled back she noticed that Peter was crying.

"What's wrong" she said brushing a tear off his face

"I just-I love you so much and to know that I made you feel that way I just feel so bad and I don't even know how you could forgive me. I promised you I would never do that or make you feel that way and here we are and I just feel so incredibly bad that I-"

She cut him off by placing a kiss on his lips. She made it a little longer this time so that he knew she was okay.

"I love you too and I trust you. I know you would never break my trust. When I saw you with her I was just a little confused that's all. Yeah I was I little upset but I read the situation wrong I should've trusted my instincts and should've trusted the fact that I know you would never hurt me."

She grabbed his hands and intertwined their fingers

"Do you believe me...do you seriously believe that I love you and that I won't ever hurt you"

"Yes I do...there is no part of me that has ever doubted that for a second not even when I saw you with that girl" she said trying to comfort him

He gently placed a kiss on her temple and she laid her head on his shoulder.

"I love you so much more than you will ever know and promise me you will never forget that"

"I love you too and I promise I won't"

They both smiled and at each other and leaned in as their lips met in a soft kiss.
