Returning Home Pt 2

She couldn't believe what she was seeing...

Peter was lying in his bed...with another woman in his arms. Not only was she stealing Gamora's spot in Peter's bed but she looked weirdly similar to Gamora. She had black hair with red streaks and quite a toned body. The only difference is that she had blue skin.

All Gamora could see was red and she felt like she had smoke coming out of her ears as her heartbreak and betrayal quickly turned into anger.

"I told you not to come in" Rocket exclaimed

Gamora gave Rocket the deadliest stare and he ran out of the room as fast as possible.

"Uh, Gamora...meet Aria...my um...my girlfriend."

His-HIS GIRLFRIEND!!!

"Hi..." she said in a sweet yet hesitant tone

Gamora just gave her a death stare and walked out of the room calmly. She made her way to her room and pretended not to see the rest of her family awkwardly shifting in their seats in the kitchen as she walked by.

Although her room was relatively empty it felt more at home than Peter's room did. That's saying a lot considering she spent most of her time there before she left for the mission two years ago.

Gamora just collapsed on her bed and just started to think. She supposes she can't be mad at him for finding someone else they did break up before she left and it was technically her fault. But how could he move on from her just like that? After he spent years doing everything in his power just to get her to go on one date with him and now all of a sudden he's able to just date someone new as if nothing ever happened.

Her thoughts were interrupted by a knock on the door.

"Can I come in?" she heard Peter ask from behind the door

Gamora didn't respond but Peter opened the door anyways and softly closed it behind him.

"Why are you here shouldn't you be with your girlfriend?" she asked harshly

Peter completely ignored her question

"When did you get back?" he asked

"When did you get a new girlfriend?"

"When did you get so jealous?!"

"When were you gonna tell me about her?!"

"When were you gonna tell me you were back?!"

"IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE A SURPRISE!" Gamora shouted

"Well it was a surprise considering I wouldn't have had Aria in my room if I knew you were coming home!" Peter shouted back

"Oh so if I told you I was coming back, you would have just had her show up out of nowhere and surprise me...how kind of you," Gamora told him sarcastically

Needless to say, there was a lot of tension in the room and both Peter and Gamora wanted to bang their heads against a wall.

"Okay...how about we both just calm down for a second and talk about this rationally?" Peter offered but Gamora wasn't having it

"We broke up and you found someone new! Seems to me like there is nothing to talk about," she exclaimed

"What do you mean. We have to talk about us and where we stand."

Gamora just looked at him and started walking closer to him as Peter walked backward away from her and towards the door.

"Let's get one thing straight here. We are done. Whatever happened between us is over. There is no us and there never will be again."
