Talk of the Day

Peter and Gamora were both getting ready for bed. They both had already changed into their pajamas and Gamora had just gotten out of the shower so her hair was wet so she took her hair brush and started brushing it. Has she was brushing her hair she felt Peter wrap his warm strong arms slowly around her abdomen. She stopped brushing her hair for a second to lean her head back against Peter's shoulder and just kept her head there for a second. She lifted her head up to look at Peter from his shoulders and was a little caught off guard when she felt the sensation of his lips touching hers in a soft and gentle kiss. When he pulled away she gave him the hair tie and the hair brush. Peter started to gingerly braid Gamora's hair. Once they were finished Peter started to get into bed while Gamora turned off the light and then Gamora proceeded to slip under the covers.

Once Gamora got under the covers she just stared at Peter and started gingerly running her fingers through his hair.

"Babe" Peter asked

"Yeah"

"I don't even know how long we have been together at this point I lost track but...my head was hurting all day today but you made it better obviously"

Gamora just softly chuckled as she let Peter continue

"So I don't know if you know this-"

"Know what" she said cutting him off

"Everything you do is perfect and I never want to lose you baby because I love you so much" he said as a tear escaped his eye

Gamora proceeded to wipe away Peter's tear as one escaped from hers.

"I dream about you all the time...you better be dreaming about me"

Gamora just scoffed and rolled her eyes playfully

"I do"

Peter smiled at that

"I don't know what I would do without you baby" he proceeded to say

"I love you more than anything...forever and ever and ever and ever"

Gamora laughed

"I love you so much" she said to him as she leaned in

Gamora kissed him gingerly

"I guess this concludes our talk of the day"

"Goodnight baby" he said as Gamora nuzzled into his chest as Peter wrapped his arms around her

"Goodnight Peter I love you"

"I love you too"

Then they proceeded to fall asleep content in each other's embrace.
