Peter was trying to look for Gamora for a while until he found her talking with Nebula in the training room. He was going to walk in until he heard his name being said

"You are different around Peter...he's changed you" Nebula said

"I know because...I love him"

Peter smiled at his girlfriend's declaration

"I promise this is a safe space just tell me about him"

Gamora smiled

"Okay fine"

Gamora took a minute to think about it

"He makes me happy...happier then I can ever remember being. He makes me feel safe...safer than I have felt in a long time. He makes me believe that I more than what Thanos turned me into and that I shouldn't see myself as the daughter of Thanos or the deadliest woman in the galaxy but as a Guardian of the Galaxy and...and the love of his life."

She continued on

"I never knew that I could love someone the way I love him or that anyone could love me this way in return. He cares about me just as much as I care about him. At first I thought he was gonna leave me but then he showed me that I meant much more to him than that. He told me that he would never leave and he would love me forever and always. At first this scared me and I didn't know how to process this but then little by little his smile, his laugh, his personality were the reasons I fell in love with him."

Gamora kept going

"If there is one thing I know I could never love anyone the way I love Peter and as much as I love Peter. He brings a certain sense of joy and happiness into my life that I haven't felt since my parents were ripped away from me....all I can really say is that I love him...I love him so much...with all of my heart...more than anything in the world. I know that I couldn't handle him leaving my life in any way because if the light of my life and...ugh and the love of my life and I don't think I have really told him any of that"

Gamora looked up from where her eyes were locked on the floor and saw a sincere smile on Nebula's face for the first time ever

"I am happy for you sister"

Gamora gave her a smile back

"Thank you"

They both got up and hugged each other

Meanwhile Peter had been listening to that whole conversation and Gamora's whole speech. He didn't realize he was crying until her felt the tears hit his arm. Peter had never felt so appreciated and loved before in his life.

Later on that day Gamora was looking for Peter and found him sitting in their shared bedroom talking to himself...well talking to his mom. She decided to listen on what he was talking about

"Mom earlier today I heard Gamora talking to Nebula and she gave this whole speech about how much she loved me and how much I meant to her."

Gamora didn't know Peter heard all of that but she was actually happy for once that he was eve's dropping

"I know this is a safe place so I am going to tell you about her"

Gamora was now listening in very closely

Peter paused before speaking

"She is the most amazing person I have ever met and I love her with all my heart"

Gamora smiled at that feeling the burn in the back of her eyes and kept listening in

"She is the sweetest, kindest, most caring person I have ever met. Everybody thinks that she is very mean and nasty and tough but that is just the persona she puts on for people really she's...she cares about her family and she would die to protect the people she loves. Which sometimes sucks because I get so worried that she is going to get hurt and die because I can't afford to lose her I love her too much."

Gamora could help but let a tear fall from her eye as she was listening

"She really has no idea how much it hurts me to hear her say she is a bad person or to say other people say that she should rot in hell because they only see the bad side of her. I have to hold back to tears when I listen to her talk bad about herself because she is the most amazing person in the universe. I always want to be there to reassure her and be the person she comes to when she has a problem. I want to be person she trusts."

Of course Gamora trusted Peter. She trusted him more than anyone in the world

"I hate seeing her cry but it makes me feel good knowing she trusts me enough to cry in front of me because not even the team as seen her cry."

"I guess what I am trying to say is I have found the love of my life, my soulmate, my whole world. She means the world to me and I would never do anything to hurt her. I hope we never break up because I am never going to love anyone else the way I love her. I would give my life to protect her and I will love her forever and always"

"Mom I have the love of my life and I want to marry Gamora one day"

Gamora couldn't take it anymore as she her tears fall onto her arm. She barged into his room and watched his head whip around to look at him. She walked up to him and kissed him with all the love in the world.

When she finally pulled away Peter saw that she had been crying and thumbed away her tears and kissed her again

"So I am guessing you heard all that"

Gamora smiled "Well you heard mine too so were even"

Peter laughed softly

"I never knew I meant that much to you" Gamora said

Peter cupped her cheek softly

"I never knew I meant that much to you" he responded

They both smiled at each other

"I meant every word of it" Peter said

Gamora smiled once again

"Me too"

She leaned in and kissed him with all the love in the world

"I love you so much Peter"

"I love you too"

Gamora pulled away a little bit

"I think...I think I've fallen in love with you"

Peter gave her the biggest smile

"I've fallen in love with you too"

Gamora smiled as the last tear escaped her eye then she leaned in and kissed him again
