Her Birthday!!!!

Gamora was peacefully resting one morning when all of sudden she felt the feeling of warm strong arms slowly wrapping around her midsection as a pair of lips made soft contact with her forehead. Her eyes started to flutter open to the sensation of everything and she turned on to her opposite side to see Peter right next to her. His hair was a little disheveled and he had little bags under his eyes but Gamora still found it very cute.

"Good Morning birthday girl"

That's when it finally hit her. It was her birthday today it completely slipped her mind considering she was pretty distracted with the feeling of Peter's arms wrapped around her.

"Oh yeah I forgot"

"You forgot how could you forget your birthday" Peter said with a hint of shock in his voice

"I was too busy thinking about you" She said as she gave him a warm smile

Gamora could start to see the smile that was creeping upon his lips. He leaned in slowly and kissed her he gave her an extra long one this morning because it was her birthday. When they finally pulled apart Peter got up out of the bed and started walking towards the door.

"Where are you going"

"I'm getting something for you hold on" he said anxiously

Gamora heard the door shut and waited nervously for her boyfriend to come back. Her head immediately shot at the door when she heard it open. She saw Peter walk in with a plate of her favorite chocolate chip waffles in the shape of hearts with syrup, a small bowl of strawberries, and a fresh hot cup of coffee and a little card that sat perfectly right next to the hot mug. She got really excited because he always made these for her once year on her birthday. She loves chocolate chip waffles and wish he would make them for her more but she didn't want to ask because she felt like it was a special thing that he made for her once a year. She sat up as he walked over to her and gently placed the tray on her lap.

"Peter when did-"

"Just read the card" he said cutting her off

She picked up the card making sure to not burn her finger since it was sitting right next to the hot mug. She opened the card and started reading it to herself.

Gamora,

Happy birthday beautiful! I love you so much. I decided that the first thing I would do on your birthday is make you your favorite chocolate chip waffles with a couple things along with it. I hope this is one of the best birthday's you ever have and you are not ready for everything I have planned today. I hope I don't screw anything up because you have done so much for me from loving me everyday to yelling at me when I almost die during a mission because you just care so much. I feel like this is the one day a year where I feel like I can repay you for all of that. You really don't know how much I love you and I am so grateful for every minute I get to spend with you. You are my everything and my whole world I love you so much. Happy Birthday.

Once Gamora is done reading the card she can not help the tears that start falling down her cheeks she just looks at Peter. She feels his soft fingers wipe the tears from her eyes. She can't resist it any longer and grabs his face and smashes her lips against his. They have a little impromptu birthday make-out session. She finally pulls back when she realizes that she stills has her breakfast in front of her and she wants to eat it before it get's cold.

"I love you so much" she says as she starts digging into her waffles

"I love you too"

Peter gently wraps his arms around her shoulders and snuggles into her while she is eating her breakfast. They just stayed like that has Gamora tried to get Peter too tell her what else he had planned but she failed because he wouldn't budge.
