Hi! I know that I haven't updated in a while and with all that is going on in this crazy world its hard to say whats going to happen next. With the Riots and looting happening almost right next door to some of us, its important that we do our best to stay safe. So please! If you plan on going to a protest be prepared!
●Wear goggles and masks in the event of tear gas.
●Bring milk and water in case it gets through OR if it injures others around you.
●Help your neighbor! If you see someone getting treated harshly or unjust, do what you can to try to peacefully resolve the situation IF YOU CAN!
●Try to avoid more intensely crowded areas. They can lead to riots.
If you end up joining (please try to avoid doing any rioting or looting, I'm not your mom, but I care about all of you so avoid it if you can) the riots and looting! Everything is the same as above but please please please! And I CANNOT stress this ENOUGH do NOT go for Mom 'n' Pop Shops and small business. They are NOT a part of this and you should ONLY go after large corporations!
If you are staying home and/or avoiding protests.
●Make sure to lock up valuables somewhere safe.
●Watch for suspicious people and scenes.
●Know the signs! (Yelling, screaming, loud bangs, etc.)
●Have protective gear. Pepper spray or a small (if its legal) knife are your best friends.
But most importantly!!! Be safe! Make sure you're home by curfew, and make sure your family and friends know that you are safe and make sure that YOU know that they're safe!
