You were tired. The long weekend had not prepared you for what was to come. Tuesday was the beginning of it all, you didn't realize it until you woke up, but you had left your medication at Bokuto's house over the weekend. You thought you had it packed up in your bag when you left, but by the time you started unpacking, you realized it wasn't there. Luckily, you had an emergency stash but it only had a few pills left. You didnt want to tell Bokuto since it was embarrassing, or so you thought. You thought people would see you differently if you told them or they found out. It wasn't like you had some life threatening disease or anything, but you felt that people would still judge you since it wasn't life threatening. You have Bipolar disorder and those pills were your mood stabilizers. They helped you keep your emotions in check, for the most part. The other problem with this is that since it was a holiday, the doctors office is closed for all visits besides emergencies. You tried to go to the pharmacy before practice saying that you had lost your prescription but they didn't believe you. You sighed as you walked your way to practice, you were a bit irritated now since this happened. You texted your mom to see if she would go talk to them but she said it would have to wait until after work. You decided to suck it up and just ask Bokuto if you could go over and look for it. You took a deep breath and entered the gym. Practice went on as normal, and when it was over, you were more angry and aggressive than when you entered the building. You knew today wouldn't be a good day to ask Bokuto if you could go look for your medication, so you went home. Or... tried to at least. You had gotten so caught up in your thoughts and aggression that you became lost. Your anger had finally caught up with you as well, you just couldn't hold it in anymore! You threw your gym bag on the ground and started to kick it violently. You only wound up kicking it a few times before sighing and picking it back up. You reach in to grab your phone so you could use the GPS, but found that it was missing as well. You dug around through your bag trying to find it, but give up shortly after. You sigh before sitting down on the nearest porch. You see a pair of shoes stop in front of you.
"(Y/n)?"
You look up to see Bokuto looking at you concerned, you hadn't realized where you had walked to until now. You apologized as you got up.
"Sorry, I was lost in thought and when I snapped out of it I didn't know where I was. I lost my phone too so I couldn't use it to find my way home."
You say as you get ready to go home.
"Yeah about that,"
He says as he pulls your phone out of his bag,
"You left this on the bench, I was gonna give it to you at school tomorrow, but since you're here this is the best option."
He says handing it to you. You look down at it with empty eyes, you just wanted to get home.
"Oh... thank you."
You turn towards the direction of the house and begin to walk until his voice stops you.
"You also forgot these at my house..."
You turn around to see him holding your medication in his hands, you don't look him in the eyes, only grabbing the bottle and leaving.
"Man... what a shitty day..."
You say to yourself as you walk in the door. You examine the bottle in your hands to see if it had been tampered with, and sighed in relief seeing that everything was in place. You put the bottle on your nightstand and fell asleep.BOKUTO'S POV
I was cleaning up the living room more after I had gotten home from dropping everyone off. I'm so happy (Y/n) offered to let me walk her home, it was a nice walk and it helped to wake me up. She looked so content and happy walking home that it made me want to walk her home everyday! I knew I wouldn't be able to though. As I was spacing out, I hit something with the vacuum, I look down to see a pill bottle on the floor and was confused. I could've sworn my meds were in my room! I pick up the bottle and examine it I was concerned to see that it was the same prescription as me, I looked at the name and I went from concerned and confused to just confused! Why does (y/n) have this? I ran to my room and grabbed the bottles for comparison, the prescription was the same but the dosage was different. She had to take 2 where I only had to take 1. I put hers in my gym bag and figured I'd ask about it tomorrow. I finished up cleaning and went to bed. When I woke up, I groaned and stretched. I grabbed the bottle beside my bed as well as a glass of water. I took one of my mood stabilizers and got ready for the day. Looking at the bottle in my hand, I remembered (y/n). I figured that she wouldn't want me to give it to her in front of the team, I know I wouldn't want anyone to know this about me. I guess this would explain some of her attitudes. I left for practice and met Akaashi along the way. Practice was pretty basic but (y/n) looked pretty out of it and irritated. After practice she basically bolted. She didn't notice that she had forgotten her phone! I grabbed it and called out to her but she couldn't hear me. I trailed behind since she was probably going home. She seemed to be lost in thought since she walked right past her house. I figured she was going to the convenience store for a snack, but she kept walking! Where was she going? Suddenly she stopped outside my house. She was probably going to ask for her medication back. She still looked a little lost. What I didn't expect was for her to kick her bag around. After that she sat down on the steps leading to my house. She grabbed her bag and started searching for what I assumed to be her phone and giving up. I figured now would be the best time to talk to her.
"(Y/n)?"
She looked up at me, just now realizing where she was and getting up.
"Sorry, I was lost in thought and when I snapped out of it I didn't know where I was. I lost my phone too so I couldn't use it to find my way home."
I feel a little sheepish for following her but.
"Yeah about that,"
I say as I pull her phone out of my bag,
"You left this on the bench, I was gonna give it to you at school tomorrow, but since you're here this is the best option."
I say handing it to her. She looked down at it with empty eyes, it startled me and made my heart hurt a little bit.
"Oh... thank you."
She says grabbing the phone. She turned and started walking but I stopped her.
"You also forgot these at my house..."
She turned back to see me pull her medication out of my bag. She walked back and snatched it out of my hand before walking away. As soon as she was out of sight, I sighed and entered my home. I thought it would be a good idea to text her but I didn't know what to say... I sigh and lay on my bed, what should I do..?
