Ch. 9 Mega Movie Marathon! (Part 2/3)

You had woken up, rather uncomfortably, on the futon. (Bff) had taken over your half and you were starting to overheat, you checked your phone and seeing that it was about 8:30 you decided it wasn't worth it to try and fall back asleep. You all decided to wake up at ten so you had over an hour. You checked your social media and were currently playing games on your phone when you saw some movement out of the corner of your eye. Looking in that direction, you saw someone waking up and thought it was Akaashi. But to your surprise, it was Bokuto, he looked like a little kid as he sat up and rubbed his eyes. You let out a muffled snort, covering your mouth with your hand. He turned, confused, and saw that you were awake.
"What time is it..?"
He mumbled as he stretched. You checked your phone to see that it was about 9:15
"It's 9:15, so basically not worth it to fall back asleep."
You say as you watch him slowly start to wake up.
"Barbeque jacket..."
"What?"
Hearing the confusion in your voice he woke up for a minute
"What?"
You were looking at him, it was amusing to see him like this to be honest.
"Are you hungry?"
He asked still stretching and trying to wake up.
"Kinda... how about you?"
You ask he nods
"Wanna help me make pancakes?"
He says and you nod.
"Sure!"
Surprisingly that woke him up more than anything. And he almost jumped off of the mattress. You both get up and make your way to the kitchen before you realize...
"Bokuto... where are your pants?"
He was just in tank top and boxers. You didn't care too much since your dad walked around like that sometimes. But apparently he cared since his face turned red and his eyes widened in surprise.
"Oh god! Hold on I'm so sorry!"
He ran to where you assumed his room was and you heard him rummage around. He soon came back wearing owl printed joggers. You laughed as he was still flushed. Soon you both settled down and started to make pancakes.
"So... what kind of pancakes are we making?"
"CHOCOLATE CHIP BA-!"
You cut him off before he could wake up the other two.
"Shhh! You're gonna wake them up!"
"Dont worry about it! Akaashi is a heavy sleeper."
The moment he said that you had a terribly amazing idea.
"(Bff) is a heavy sleeper too~"
You turn to Bokuto and he has the same look on his face. You both book it back to the fort and decide to move (bff) since the futon was lower, you both grab her carefully and delicately placed her in Akaashi's arms. He subconsciously pulled her closer. You both silently squeeled and snuck back into the kitchen to continue.
"Do you think they'll be mad at us when they wake up?"
You ask as you mix the batter. Bokuto shrugs and grabs the eggs. You finally made all the batter into pancakes. You both got a bit bored along the way so you started getting creative with the shapes. You made some hearts and stars and even a smiley face. As you were finishing up, you heard a slight gasp and some quick movement come from the fort. It was (bff) and her face was as red as a tomato. She came into the kitchen wide eyed looking at the two of you making pancakes and just sighed and hobbled her way back to the fort. Not too long after, Akaashi woke up. Or so you thought, he came into the kitchen his face flushed slightly pink and sheepishly scratched the back of his neck.
"I woke up when I heard Bokuto yell to be honest... I tried to go back to sleep but then..."
His face turned a darker pink as he trailed off. You spoke up first,
"Dude... you seriously need to tell her how you feel. You've liked her for how long now?"
Bokuto joined in.
"YEAH! We'll even help you!"
He said as he slung his arm around your shoulder,
"That's right!"
"You think she likes me back?"
When he asked this, you and Bokuto looked at him dumbfounded.
"Boi you're denser than a black hole I swear to God!"
You say as his face gets even more red from embarrassment. You sigh and put a hand on his shoulder.
"Listen, she'd be super pissed that I told you if it wasn't so obvious, but..."
You look around to see if she's anywhere within hearing range,
"She definitely likes you."
You say in a slightly quieter tone. He looked shocked.
"OH YEA (Y/N) AND I MADE PANCAKES WANT SOME?!?!"
Bokuto asked/yelled as he went to grab plates. Akaashi raised an eyebrow and you shrugged. As Bokuto set up the plates a now calm (bff) walked into the kitchen seeming to have almost completely forgotten about the previous incident. You all started to eat when Akaashi spoke up.
"So... what time did you two wake up?"
You shrugged and finished your pancake before responding.
"I woke up at around 8:30 and Bokuto woke up about an hour later."
Bokuto nodded as he still had food in his mouth. He seemed to be tired still, but not as tired as when he woke up. Soon you all finished breakfast and put the dishes in the sink and went back to the fort. You moved blankets and pillows around, also turning to futon into a couch, and turned on the TV to do some binging. You all decided that it would be best to get the Lord of the Rings trilogy out of the way first since it was so long. The longer you sat there, the more restless you all got. After the first movie you had a break and goofed around. By the time you finished all the movies, it was almost 1 in the morning. You all were getting very sleepy and decided to get to bed. You figured that it was too much work to set up the beds again, so you all decided to sleep on the floor. You and Bokuto had planned out the next day while watching the movies, texting of course, so you laid down and fell asleep with a mischievous smile on your face.

BOKUTO'S POV

I

woke up early, I didn't know what time it was but as I yawned and sat up, I heard a laugh. I looked over and saw (y/n) staring at me.
"What time is it..?"
I ask, still stretching out
"It's 9:15, so basically not worth it to fall back asleep."
She said as she sighed. I was slowly starting to wake up when I heard her say something
"What?"
I say confused, she was looking at me kinda funny and I felt my face heat up a little bit. I guess Kuroo was right about this being more than just a little crush at this point. I mean who wouldn't like someone like her? I realized I was still staring and spoke
"Are you hungry?"
She shrugged,
"Kinda... how about you?"
I nod
"Wanna help me make pancakes?"
"Sure!"
She says as she gets up. I almost spring from the air mattress Akaashi and I are sharing, I'd prefer not to wake him up. We went into the kitchen when all of a sudden (y/n) speaks.

"Bokuto... where are your pants?"
I look down and see im only in a tank top and boxers. Oh shit! I felt my face heat up and my eyes widen.

"Oh god! Hold on I'm so sorry!"
I run to my room and open the drawer that has all my sweats. I pull out a pair of joggers and run back out to the kitchen. She laughs and soon we begin cooking.

"So... what kind of pancakes are we making?"
She asks, turning to look at me again.
"CHOCOLATE CHIP BA-!"
She covered my mouth with her hand and put her finger on her other hand to her lips.
"Shhh! You're gonna wake them up!"
"Dont worry about it! Akaashi is a heavy sleeper."
The moment I said that I knew I had sparked something.
"(Bff) is a heavy sleeper too~"
She said in a mischievous tone. I looked at her and she booked it to the fort with me close behind. We grabbed (bff) and carefully put her next to Akaashi. He pulled her closer in his sleep and we silently squeeled at the cuteness. We went back to the pancakes when (y/n) spoke up,

"Do you think they'll be mad at us when they wake up?"
I looked at her and shrugged. We continued to cook when (bff) came into the kitchen, we looked at her, pretending to be confused,and she just sighed and hobbled back to the fort. Soon Akaashi woke up too and came into the kitchen. He looked embarrassed so I could tell he had woken up before (bff).
"

I woke up when I heard Bokuto yell to be honest... I tried to go back to sleep but then..."

His face turned a darker pink as he trailed off. (Y/n) spoke up first,
"Dude... you seriously need to tell her how you feel. You've liked her for how long now?"

"YEAH! We'll even help you!"
I said as I slung my arm around her shoulder,
"That's right!"

I asked as I went to grab plates, I had noticed (bff) was coming back and didn't want her to hear the rest of that spiel. As I set up the plates a now calm (bff) walked into the kitchen seeming to have almost completely forgotten about the previous incident. We started to eat when Akaashi spoke up.
"So... what time did you two wake up?"
(Y/n) shrugged and finished her bite of pancake before responding.
"I woke up at around 8:30 and Bokuto woke up about an hour later."
I nodded as I still had food in my mouth. As we finished, I told everyone to just dump the plates in the sink and I'd take care of them later. We went out and rearranged the fort into some kind of movie theater and set up Lord of the Rings. It was good, but we all got restless so we decided to take a break after the first movie. During that time (y/n) and I discussed the plan for tomorrow in text form. We knew we were going to watch some Rom-Coms tomorrow but I wasn't sure which ones. As we finished the last movie, it was already almost 1 in the morning. We decided to skip the beds tonight and sleep on the floor. It was surprisingly nice, I noticed that (y/n) checked her phone one last time before falling asleep, she had that smile on her face, the one that always causes trouble. I fell asleep thinking about that smile, and how I wanted to see it more.
