Ch. 10 Mega Movie Marathon! (part 3/3)

Today, you were the last to wake up, which was odd since you were the first yesterday. You heard laughing from the kitchen and hobbled over to see everyone sitting at the table. They all turned to look at you,
"Look who finally woke up from their coma!"
(Bff) said you rolled your eyes with a slight smile on your face. You grabbed some breakfast, which was basically the left over pancakes from yesterday, and sat down.
"So what movies are we gonna watch today?"
Akaashi asked, you all pondered for a moment and you jumped up as you remembered the movie you bought at the convenience store.
"WAIT!"
You said as you ran out of the room, it was in your personal bag and when you found it you ran back and slapped it onto the table.
"Is this the movie you bought at the convenience store?"
Akaashi asked raising an eyebrow.
"Yes. Yes it is. It looked so weird I HAD to buy it! And now... we're gonna watch it!"
You say looking around the table. Bokuto looked puzzled and grabbed the movie. It was a Rom-Com, so it wasn't out of the question. They agreed to watch it first to get it out of the way. You all went back to the fort and popped it into the DVD player. It was really weird at first since it started with a weird harem scene, but by the end of it, you, (bff), and Bokuto were all crying. Akaashi only looked kind of sad but not really showing much emotion. He turned to see the rest of you sniffing and sobbing before you and (bff) broke,
"THAT WAS SO SAD WTF?!"
You both said simultaneously while hugging eachother.
"Are you guys okay?"
Akaashi asked sounding concerned and confused.
"AKAASHIIIIII!!!"
You both said as you pushed (bff) at him. This stopped her crying for a minute as she realized what you had done. Immediately after this, you hid behind Bokuto so she wouldn't attack you. This was DEFINITELY not part of the plan but hey, improv baby! She was about to get off, apologizing profusely but Akaashi stopped her. You and Bokuto looked at them in awe, who knew Akaashi had the balls to do it a literal DAY after telling you and Bokuto. You watched as he wiped the tears from her face and gave her a small, quick peck on the forehead. The suspence was killing the two of you, but you held it together. It was almost like a romance novel or a cringy fanfic on Wattpad.
"A-a-akaashi?!?"
(Bff) said flustered at what he was doing. His face was so red you thought he was going to burst.
"(Bff) I... I really like you... I've liked you for a long time so..."
He trailed off, but (bff) got the hint. She was still in shock for a moment before grinning like an idiot, she leaned in and kissed him on the tip of his nose.
"I like you too!"
She said as she cuddled into him.
"Awwwwwwww"
You and Bokuto said in unison as you did the stereotypical 'lovey-dovey' friendship hug.
"Oh fuck off!"
(Bff) yelled in embarrassment
"Well that wasn't very nice!"
You laughed. The rest of the day was filled with Rom-Coms and you and Bokuto picking on the new couple as often as possible. But its all fun and games until there's awkward sexual tension...
"Hey Akaashi stop hogging my best friend I need her too!"
You say grabbing (bff)'s hand
"Bite me!"
She says as she laughs. She knew what was coming but the guys clearly did not.
"Gimme a time and a place and I'll be there baby~"
You say as you give an overly flirtatious wink towards (bff). Akaashi and Bokuto looked at you in surpise for a minute. Both of their faces gaining a slightly pink hue at the thought of you two doing the nasty before you and (bff) laughed harder than you had ever laughed before.
"OHHH MYYYYY GODDDDD!!! YOU SHOULD HAVE SEEN THE LOOKS ON YOUR FACES!!!"
You say in between bouts of laughter. (Bff) could barely make a full sentence but managed a few words
"LIKE-... YOU GUYS-... IT WAS JUST-... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!"
As you continued to laugh, the boys looked around sheepishly knowing they had been caught thinking about it like a couple of pervs. You and (bff) had finally calmed down, and when you checked your phones it was only about 9:30 so you guys decided to make another run to the convenience store with the extra money you all had. You were all still in pajamas, but you threw your coats on over them. Luckily the store was open 24 hours so it wasn't like you had any time constraints. You got some more snacks and returned to Bokuto's house for the night to sleep and enjoy the last day you had together for the weekend. When you woke up, Akaashi and (bff) were cuddling. Seems like they fell asleep next to each other. But as you were getting up, you felt a pressure against your waist. Looking down you saw Bokuto, you blushed slightly as you moved his arm off of you and scooted away a bit. You checked your phone to realize it was still early so you tried to go back to sleep but you couldn't. You sighed and went to the bathroom and decided to get some water. You couldn't remember where the glasses were so you decided the best thing to do would be to ask Bokuto.
"Psst... Bokuto!"
You said in a hushed tone as you shook his shoulder gently. He mumbled something incoherently and rolled over. You sighed, thinking it was useless and decided to try and find them. As you entered the kitchen, you saw Bokutos mom sitting at the counter reading the newspaper so you decided to ask her.
"Hello ma'am, thank you for letting us stay in your home for the weekend."
You say bowing to her respectfully.
"Its not a problem at all dear! But it's quite early isn't it? Why are you awake?"
She asked.
"Well... I'm not sure... I'm a bit thirsty though, is it okay if I have a glass of water?"
"Of course! The glasses are in that cabinet right there!"
She said pointing at the cabinet just left of the sink.
"Okay thank you again ma'am!"
You grab a glass and fill it from the tap. As you stood there with your cup, you heard some shuffling coming from the fort. It was Akaashi, he looked like he needed some water too, so you moved away from the sink and cabinet. He noticed this and nodded at you as a way to say thank you.
"Ah Keiji you're awake too?"
Bokutos mother says. It was interesting to hear her call him by his first name. He nodded as he drank. After you had both finished your water, he turned to you.
"So... I never got to thank you for yesterday..."
He said looking at his cup.
"I mean... Bokuto and I did have a plan but... the movie was so sad so I saw the shot and I took it." You say scratching the back of your neck with a sheepish grin. He smiled slightly. You had both decided it wasnt worth it to try and fall back to sleep at this point, so you began chatting with Bokutos mother before she left for work. You got to know more about not only her, but Akaashi and Bokuto as well. It was interesting to say the least. They had known each other almost as long as you and (bff) had known each other! And that's a pretty long time. By the time she had left for work, Bokuto had woken up just in time to see her off.
"Bye mom have fun at work..."
He said still half asleep. His mom just smiled at him and walked out the door. You guys were only spending a half day together since you had practice tomorrow so it was mainly spent cleaning up the living room and goofing around. Bokuto offered to walk everyone home but Akaashi said he was going to walk (bff) home first you saw Bokuto's expression drop a bit. You and (bff) were just a few houses from each other so you knew you'd be stuck third wheeling if Bokuto didn't come. It just wasn't fun anymore when he wasn't around, it was awkward. He'd add on to your jokes and you'd add on to his! You guys are comedic geniuses so you had to find an excuse!
"I mean... you could still walk me home..? I only live a few houses away from (bff) so it's not too far and you can still walk home with Akaashi!"
As you said this you felt the other two looking at you. You couldn't tell what they were thinking, but you could sense it wouldn't end well for either of you. Bokuto seemed to beam at this.
"HEY HEY HEY! ALRIGHT LETS GOOO!!"
he said, looping his arm through yours and skipping along merrily. The walk was definitely more fun and interesting than it would have been if you were alone. When you all reached (bff)'s house, you said goodbye to her and Akaashi and continued on your merry way...

AKAASHI'S POV

"He soooo likes her!"
(Bff) said as she draped her arms around my shoulders. I had decided to stay at her house for a few minutes until Bokuto looped back around. I nodded, knowing exactly what she was talking about.
"It seems like she likes him as well, she doesn't seem to know she does though..."
He trailed off as he cuddled into (bff).
"Oh okay so you can read how they feel about each other but not when it was obvious that I liked you~!"
She said, playfully punching my shoulder. I chuckled a bit... they'll figure it out soon enough...
