Ch. 8 Mega Movie Marathon! (part 1/3)

The following week was stressful, but nothing interesting happened. You were just interested in getting home and relaxing for the weekend. You and (bff) made your way over to practice after class and as you were walking, you got a text from Bokuto. It was just a video of some barn owls dancing to some music. You laughed and showed (bff). The two of you had been texting each other on and off all week and getting to know each other better. A lot of the messages were videos and pictures you guys thought were funny or cute.
"God I guess I'll go fuck myself then seeing as you have a new best friend!"
(Bff) said in an overly dramatic sad tone. You laughed,
"Dude you think my mentally unstable ass could find anyone to replace you? I'm lucky your too dumb to leave me!"
She gasped clearly offended
"One I'm not dumb, and two you are beautiful and fun and I love you."
She said grabbing your face,
"Jeez kiss and makeup already and get in the gym!"
Said Bokuto as he laughed. You and (bff) just sighed as you entered the gym. They were doing basic warm-ups as you and (bff) were about to sit down. You asked the coach if there was anything you could do at the moment, and they told you that there really wasn't much to do since it was a Friday. You two did your basic duties as managers then both went back to your homework. By the time practice was over, you both had a significant amount of your homework done. You knew that the rest wouldn't take too long, so you didnt worry about it.
"Hey hey hey! I got an idea!"
Bokuto shouted behind you as you both turn to look at him, Akaashi standing close behind him looking slightly confused.
"We should do a movie marathon since its a long weekend!"
You looked confused for a moment before a smile spread across your face and you turn towards (bff)
"I forgot we don't have school on Monday or Tuesday!"
You both sigh in relief. A nice long weekend, no school until Wednesday and no practice until Tuesday.
"Okay, I'll bite, whats the plan?"
Your parents were pretty lenient, so they wouldn't care as long as you told them what was up.
"I was thinking we could do a weekend long marathon, from tomorrow morning to Monday night at my house! We can pick up snacks, set up camp in the living room, and just stream movies!"
(Bff) and you looked at each other, you both knew if your parents knew you would be together they'd be fine no matter the circumstances because you're both 'responsible' in their eyes. You didn't have any plans for the night and neither did she. So you decided to speak up.
"I mean... if Akaashi doesn't have anything going on, we could get snacks and supplies tonight since (Bff) and I don't have anything to do."
You all turned towards Akaashi, looking at him expectantly.
"Fine... only because I don't have anything to do this weekend."
He looked away sheepishly due to all the attention. You all message your families to tell them what was going on. Before you went out to get supplies; you, (bff), and Akaashi all had to go home to grab some spare clothes and toiletries. You all had to meet at the convenience store at 8:30, the store wasn't a far walk from your house and you got home at 7:30. You decided to use the rest time to finish up the rest of your assignments since you always had an emergency pack in case of unexpected trips like this. After you finished, it was about 8:00pm. You had a few more minutes before you had to leave, so you cleaned up your room a little bit. You had found some loose change and decided to use some of that along with about 2500 yen from the money you had saved. In total, you had about 2650 yen to spend. You decided it was enough money and headed towards the store. It was only about a 5 minute walk and you seemed to be the first one there. You decided to browse the store and check out some of the magazines and movies in the back. A few had caught your eye, specifically a movie that had a relatively odd title. It looked like it would be a funny movie, so you brought it up to the counter for the cashier to hold on to. You looked it up online while you waited for everyone else to get there and it was considered a Rom-Com. As you were reading what it was about, some one tapped your shoulder. You looked up and saw Bokuto standing next to you
" what ya lookin at?"
He asked peeping over your shoulder.
"I found a movie that looked interesting so I grabbed it."
You said, checking the time. You were both still 5 minutes early, which surprised you.
"Really?! Whats it called?!"
He said excitedly.
"Its called 'A Banana? At This Time of Night?'*"
You said.
"I've heard of that movie! It seems really weird."
He said as you both made your way inside the store.
"So..."
You looked over at Bokuto as he spoke.
"Back to the plan!"
You were confused for a second before remembering
"OH SHIT! YES What should we do?"
"Well, does (bff) get scared easily? Maybe we could have them sit together so she cuddles into him?"
"Hmmm... maybe, it would have to depend on if I'm sitting near her or not... maybe a romcom? She gets lovey dovey easily... how about Akaashi?"
You ask while picking out some snacks.
"He likes fantasy and action movies... hmmmm..."
As you both thought, (bff) entered the store with Akaashi coming in a few minutes later. The four of you counted and pooled the money and decided on snacks, you had told them about the movie that you had grabbed, so you took out the amount of the movie. As you went to the checkout counter, you double checked prices, and amounts. You all paid for your things and headed on your way to Bokuto's house. It wasn't too far of a walk and you all made it to Bokuto's house in one piece surprisingly. You all started setting up camp. Bokuto had told his mom when he went home that there was a change in plans and that you all were coming over tonight. She was confused but didn't question it, she seemed like a very sweet lady. You had set up a large blanket fort that basically covered the entire living room, filled with blankets, pillows and even an air mattres! You and (bff) decided to sleep on the futon while the boys got the mattress. You yawned and checked your phone, it was about 12:30 am. Everyone decided it was time to change into their pajamas and get to bed.
