-Welsknight's POV, 1st-

I was working on my base, gathering resources and whatnot, when I saw Scar diving down to a landing in front of my white and purple house. I watched for a bit as he marveled at my starter house, and then went out to talk to him. "Hey Scar, what's- oh my Lord, are you okay?!" I said, taking in his thin body. It looked like he hadn't eat in days. "Fine, just didn't think I would see you today, but whatev-" he stopped mid-sentence, collapsing on the ground in a heap.

"Scar?! Stay awake, tell me what's happening, this isn't funny!" He stared at me blankly. I messaged Doc on my communicator, "Scar fainted. My base. Come quick." He texted back, "Why does everyone keep asking me, Stress is available too, you know!" "Just come help me!" "Is it really that serious?" "DOC." "Coming." I hated to bother Doc, but this was serious. "Scar, what did you do..?" I asked, taking his limp body into my arms. I was shocked: he was so light, it didn't make any sense.

"I'm h- what happened to him?!" Doc asked, rushing over. "I don't know, he was just standing here, looking at my base, so I came out to chat, and then almost immediately, he fainted. He's also light as a feather, and I'm really scared.." "Don't worry, this is the third bizarre almost-death this week. I can tell you that, if it goes like the others did, then he will be fine. Now, you said something about him being really light?" Doc offered, and I nodded. "Yeah, try lifting him up," Doc did so, and a look of worry and shock spread across his face.

"He feels like he lost 60 pounds, he weighs so little..." "that's what I thought when I picked him up," "let me see what I can do..." Doc said, carrying him inside my house. I followed, watching as he ran a few precautions, and then tests. "It seems to be that he was starving himself for a pretty long time, two weeks, at least," Doc said sadly. "Why would he d-do that?" "I don't know, but he did," Doc put his hand on my shoulder. "Look, it's gonna be okay, okay? Don't you go blaming yourself, it's not your fault,"

I nodded, but I didn't believe it. I could've done something. I just didn't know what that 'something' was until now. "Look, he's still breathing, and that's all that matters," Doc said, raising my spirits slightly. At least he was still alive, and not about to respawn still in agony. See, certain things can be fixed, while others can't. Scar not eating wasn't a part of hunger, so he wouldn't lose any hunger points. He would still be starved, though. "I'm going to run some more tests, and try and see if I can find a way to get some food into his system without hurting him,"

I nodded again. "Thank you so much, Doc, I wouldn't have known what to do if you hadn't come, and Stress isn't online..." He smiled at me in pity. "I would help any of you guys, no matter what," he said. I looked at him, and then back at Scar. "When do you think he'll wake up?" Doc avoided my eyes. "I don't know, his condition..." "What about it?" "Well, um... He could possibly... Um..." He trailed off. "What? What is it?" "He could possibly be in a coma..." I stood there in shock. This couldn't be real. He had to be joking. He- he had to...

-BdoubleO100's POV, 1st-

Me and Keralis had been very creeped out after the whole incident with Iskall. His eyes... I had had to watch him die. I didn't think he was innocent. Guess I was wrong. It was just unexpected... "Keralis, what do you think we should do?" I asked him, pacing the room. "Well, you've been up for hours, you should sleep before anything else, Bubbles," Keralis said, his voice snapping me out of my guilt. "There's no way I could sleep right now, not after what I did. I feel so guilty, and-"

He cut me off, standing up from his spot on the couch. He walked over, grabbed my arm, and dragged me over to my bedroom. "Sleep, or I will make you." He said, joking fondly. "Aww, come on, Ker, I may be the embodiment of sleep but I'm not tire-" I was cut off by a yawn. "Darn it..." I muttered under my breath at the inconvenient timing. He dragged me to the bed, surprisingly strong enough to pull me, and pushed me onto it. "Sleep, Bubbles, you need it," he said, lying down next to me. "What a-a-are you d-d-doing?" I asked, blushing slightly. "Snuggling." "Wha-?"

I started to drift off to sleep. Keralis was hugging my waist, and put his head in the nook of my chest. "Aww, okay, that's adorable..." I said as he purred, falling asleep. I too fell asleep soon after, my arms around the smaller man. "Love chu, Bubbles..." I heard him mutter in his sleep. "Love ya Ker.." I said, knowing he wouldn't hear me, but saying it anyway. Then I fell into a peaceful sleep, and I swear, I don't think I have ever been happier in my entire life.

-Mumbo's POV, 1st-

I had been pacing outside of the room, worried about what was happening. I don't mean to sound mean, or paranoid, or anything like that, but Iskall had hurt Grian a lot, and I still didn't trust that he was safe to be around. Then again, he might not have been able to control it. Stress came into the room, seeing my pacing and walking over. "Where are the other two?" She asked with slight concern lining her voice. "They've been in there for the past couple hours. How do you even know about what happened, anyways?" I said, my voice filled with suspicion.

"Doc, he told me to get over here while he took care of something important, I think it might've been something about Scar, wasn't listening in the hurry, love, sorry," Stress responded. I nodded, though I was curious about what could possibly be so important. And I think she said it involved Scar, which was odd, because Scar was in good health last I checked. What is happening this week? First Grian, and now Scar, it doesn't make any sense.

Stress walked into the room quickly, leaving EX and I staring after her. "Wonder what that was about?" EX asked, and I nodded in question. Why was she in such a rush? Would we ever even find out? I hope Grian and Iskall aren't trying to kill each other in there, even though Grian's not the type to fight. Not physically, at least. Stress came rushing out, gushing about some sort of "amends being made", and not to disturb the two. I figured that I may as well listen to her, as I didn't have much other choice.

I sat down, finally stopping my pacing, and let myself fall asleep at last, knowing that everything was fine. "Guess you're pretty tired, then, Mumbo?" EX asked, and I nodded. Truth was, I hadn't slept much that week, because I was worried about Grian. "Hmm, well, you have fun with that, I don't really need sleep that much, which makes me in that way superior to you," EX gloated, but I was too tired to care all that much. "Shush, or we'll have two Grian's..." I mumbled, earning a small laugh from the albino man.

"Wouldn't that be a good thing, though?" He said jokingly. "True, but it would also mean twice the 'pesky bird'-ing," "that's fair, I'll just let you sleep now," "mhm..." I muttered, falling asleep in seconds. At some point, I felt a warm thing surround me. It was very comfy, and soft. I guessed it was a blanket, but I'm not sure who put it on me. I didn't care, though, because it felt really nice.

I woke in some sort of weird, murky forest, with moss and rocks and sticks dotting the ground. Grass was very abundant in this forest, but not tall. It was like a meadow, rainforest, and storm had combined to make one person's nightmare, and another person's dream. "Hello? Chi, Sanl, Luella, anyone?" A voice asked, seemingly with no owner. It didn't sound either male or female, more like a combo of both.

"Chi, is that you?" The person said, hearing my quiet footsteps. I decided to be honest. "No, I am Mumbo, nice to meet you." I said, walking closer to where the voice was coming from. "My name is Lako, nice to meet you, I guess?" They said, stepping out from their spot behind the tree. "A pleasure," nothing- Don't... You should, you know. Why don't you? "Did you say something?" I asked, hearing a strange whisper. It followed me, but when I mentioned it, it disappeared.

"No, unless you count right now, since I'm speaking to you to tell you that I wasn't talking, if that makes sense," I nodded. It must have been the wind. Was it the wind, though? Mumbo, you should know who I am by now, no? I shook my head at the voice. "Why are you shaking your- I'm not gonna question it, it's quite cold here, so maybe it's just warmer where you come from, and you're trying to stay warm?" The person named Lako asked. "Yeah, that's... That's totally it..." Mumbo lied.

Why are you lying Mumbo? I'm your friend, you should tell them about me! "I'm perfectly fine how I am, thanks. I don't even know you, and this new person probably thinks I'm insane because of your troublesome antics." I thought, getting fed up with this seemingly invisible person. How did they know I was lying? Were they in my head? A made up person, perhaps? I want answers.
