-Mumbo' POV, 1st-

I ran past both Doc and Bdubs, and quickly fumbled with the latch door on one of the bubblevators leading to the center of my mega-base. I needed to get out. I couldn't explain to them what I was feeling, they would surely ridicule me, or... Or even pity me, I don't know, but I don't want to either. I had gotten it open, but by then, Doc had walked over, grabbed my arm firmly, and whipped me around to face him. I froze. God, he was intimidating... No, I couldn't let him frighten me. I needed to get out of there, of here. Sadly, I couldn't do much, as he was stronger, faster, most likely smarter... Plus, he had Bdubs, who was all that, but in a shorter, rougher specimen.

I could feel him staring at me, and I wanted desperately to shrink away from him, into a small, composite ball, and die. That wasn't an option, though. And then, suddenly, he was at my level of eyesight, staring me directly in the eyes, though I tried averting my gaze from him, failing shortly. "Mumbo. Why did you want to die?" He asked, gaze unflinching. I felt my heart start to beat faster, the cogs in my brain start to turn. Bdubs was looking at me weird, so the situation wasn't any less stressful. "And what happened? Do you know?" Bdubs himself asked, giving me a penetrating death stare that suggested he either wanted to murder me, or that he was mad at me. Pretty much the same thing, in my opinion.

I wanted to hide, to reset, to make all of this go away, but I knew that I couldn't. Still, I didn't like this. Doc was holding me in place, and Bdubs was glaring at me, two people I would've never expected to work together. I felt a cold object press itself into my hand, and I looked down. It was a small button labeled: reset. What was that supposed to mean? Did I press it? In all my years of Minecraft, I've learned that buttons are almost never innocent, but this one was just so tempting, so neat. I couldn't resist, pressing it tentatively, and everything went black.

-Keralis' POV, 1st-

I sighed, walking around the Shopping District. What had I come here for again? Oh, right, I was supposed to look for Grian... Walking past Tango's Rocket Shop, I heard something from inside. I entered curiously, only to find a pale, shivering Bdubs on the floor, curled into a small ball. I rushed to his side, asking if he was okay, and if he needed help. It took him a minute for him to respond, every second that he didn't worrying me more. Finally, he spoke quietly. "I got caught in the storm outside, and I came in here for cover..." It wasn't a full answer, but it was something, and it wasn't good. "Oh bubbles, I'm so sorry! We could stay together for a little, if you like?" He nodded, face heating up slowly.

We chatted for a little while, me trying to warm him up all the while, though the shop's glass over magma floor did that already. It was all going well until he started coughing. I couldn't stop it, I couldn't help him because I didn't know what to do, and I couldn't ask for help because Doc had logged off about an hour ago, and Stress was on a trip, so I just had to deal with not being able to help, and I hated it. I hugged him, hoping it would help, but it only made things worse, or so it seemed. I backed up. 'I'm hurting him by helping him? I don't want to hurt him, he's my best friend-'

It was the blood that snapped me out of my thoughts, however. The red liquid was everywhere around Bubbles, and he looked like he couldn't breath. God damn it Keralis, what do you do now?! I rushed him out of the shop in my arms, shakily flying to the nearest base. I didn't care where I went, I just needed to get him some help. Tango's Toon Towers came into view, and I flew down into a half-assed landing in my rush. Tango had been AFK, but when we arrived, he came rushing out. "Holy crap- What happened to Bdubs?! Is he okay?" I shook my head helplessly, unsure of the answer to either of his questions. He took Bdubs from my arms, his normal nonchalant mood staggering to stay so as he started freaking out. Was Bdubs gonna be okay?

—???'s POV, 1st—

I sighed. These insolent fools had no idea what they were doing, and they needed a leader. They needed someone to strike fear into them, like I could. Right now, my host, no matter how calm and smart he acted, was stressing, and it was all because he couldn't figure out something simple. He groaned in frustration, just like I had been doing this entire time internally whilst watching him struggle. He didn't know I was there, so I couldn't exactly help, and it made the situation all the more rage inducing. I would honestly rather help him than watch him struggle, because failure was getting boring.

"Hey X," ugh, another one of his pitiful friends, greeeeeat. "Hey Etho- I'm kind of busy right now, but it can wait- what's up?" Really? Setting aside your time for this moron? Jeez, talk about low standards. "Nothing much, just wondering if you wanted to join me and Doc in pranking Bdubs, he hired me again, and I figured I might ask a friend to come help." Woah woah, slow your roll, 'Etho', are you saying you're using me- us- for free labor? Like Hell that's happening. My host thought for a minute, giving me time to cut into his words, and take a little control. "Well, like I said, I'm busy. I have better things to do than help you with a dumb prank on Bdubs that will only give me more work. Go ask someone else."

His friend looked completely and utterly baffled, and my host's face was that of horror, but I was satisfied. Served them both right for being such blundering idiots. "X, what.?" The look on his friend's face was even more priceless than my host's- even though I don't take joy in much, this was, admittedly, very funny. "That wasn't- Just go away you nuisance, I don't want you here, get out!" His friend looked betrayed, and he was either going to cry or scream if he didn't get out of there soon. Ooh, this was fun! "Fine, asshole." That little- "What, is your pride hurt?"

He flipped my host off, before running out of the base. I almost wanted to chase after him, and give him something to run about, but I also wanted to watch my host's reaction. Nope, screw it, my host could wait, this guy's look of fear would be even better. I unfused with my host, quickly disappearing before he could spot me. I was about to make his friend's life a living Hell, just for 'funsies', as Lazari would say. Maybe I could even kill him, if I was careful enough.
