FP was at the station where he spent most of his weekdays as the sheriff. He was daydreaming while looking out of the window but was suddenly brought out of it by a knock at the door. He was shocked to see Gladys was the one that disrupted his daydream. He stood up and walked over to her and before he could say anything she pulled him into a tight embrace. He didn't like the embrace but he felt it was rude to step away.
Alice, had just arrived in the station's car park to come and see FP. He and Alice had started dating again once she had come back from the farm and she loved surprising him at his station; not only to see him in his uniform but because she couldn't bear to spend the whole day without him. She glanced into FP's office and her eyes fixated on FP embracing another woman. She couldn't quite see who it was but that didn't matter, she was just angry he was embracing another woman. She kept watching and was even more shocked to see when the mystery woman stepped back from FP and she realised it was Gladys. Alice's heart started to beat faster and faster and she couldn't breathe. "Why is Gladys here? Why is FP hugging her? Is FP seeing her as well?" She thought. She didn't want to watch another second of it so she got into her car and started it. It was just as she was trying to driving away she realised that she had tears in her eyes.
Once Gladys and FP had stopped hugging, FP asked why Gladys was in Riverdale. Gladys said that she was here on business (which seemed odd to FP as last time he checked Gladys wasn't a business woman) but FP didn't want to go into more detail about why Gladys was here because he just didn't care. Once FP had stepped away he saw Alice's car zooming off in the corner of his eye. He wondered why she hadn't come in or said hello. It didn't even occur to him that she had seen him and Gladys.
Once Alice had calmed down a bit, she drove to the Southside to distract herself. She went past her old house and the park she used to sit in with Hermione and Fred. She stopped once she reached an old abandoned building. Her and FP used to go there all the time when they were teenagers. It was the place FP had first told Alice that he loved her. Alice stopped her car and got out. She stood for a moment admiring it as she remembered all the times she and FP had been there. She went and found a bench that she and FP used to sit on and ran her fingers over the engraved letters of "FPJ" and "ASS". She started to cry as she remembered what she had seen at the police station with FP and Gladys. She loved FP endlessly and it would break her to lose him again.
2 hours later
Gladys had left the station a while ago and FP was doing some paperwork at his desk. His radio buzzed as he got a report of a break in on the Southside. He grabbed his jacket and gun holster and headed out in his patrol car to the Southside. While he was driving he noticed Alice's car parked on the side of the road. He pulled up next to it to see if she was in it but it didn't appear she was. He looked on the opposite side of the road and saw that it was the place he and Alice used to go when they were teenagers. He parked his car in front of Alice's and headed over to the building. As he walked away, his radio was heard faintly in the car "Any available officers please head to the Southside, we've got a break in". FP didn't care about what was being said in the radio because he cared more about Alice. He wanted to know why she left without saying hello earlier and why she was on the Southside. As he got closer he noticed Alice hunched over a bench with her shoulders shaking; he realised she was crying.
