"Fine!" FP shouted as he stormed out of the Cooper-Jones-Smith residence. Alice fell back onto the sofa and sobbed. She was so upset that she had ruined her relationship with FP with a single word: no.

As FP drove away on his motorcycle he replayed the argument in his head. FP had got home from the sheriff station and Alice was waiting on the sofa. She ignored him when he greeted her and stood up to leave until FP had said: "Do you actually even love me? You've been avoiding me all week." and Alice just whispered "no" quietly and then FP stormed out. Although the argument had lasted a short amount of time, it felt like hours.

Alice was still sobbing when Charles walked in.

"Mum, what happened?" he said rushing over to her. He sat down next to her as she leant into him and sobbed even more.

"I told FP I didn't love him."

"But you do, don't you?" asked Charles, confused.

"Yes of course I do." Alice said.

"So why did you tell him you don't?"

"Because-Because-"

"It's ok, take your time Mum."

"I'm pregnant." Alice said looking up to Charles concerned that he didn't want another sibling.

"You should tell him, mum. How many times have you said to FP that you wished you did it right when you had me and this is your opportunity for that."

"But we're so much older now."

"So? It will still be the most well loved baby ever!" Charles said. "Come on, lets go find him so you can tell him." He said holding Alice's hand and grabbing his car keys.

They got to FP's trailer which no one lived in at the moment but it was still FP's. Alice thought he might be there and she was right because his motorcycle was outside. Charles and Alice got out of the car and Charles squeezed Alice's hand. She knocked on the door and FP opened it and his face was red from crying.

"What do you want Alice?" FP said with his tired eyes looking into her bright blue eyes.

"I really don't want to do this on the doorstep." Alice said stepping into the trailer. "I was wrong earlier, FP, you are the love of my life and I have never been in love with someone as much as I am with you. The only reason I said I didn't love you was because," Alice looked at Charles who nodded his head as a sign of encouragement. "I'm pregnant."

"Really??" FP said, his eyes wide open.

"So you're ok with it?"

"Yes, I am!!" FP said embracing Alice and then Charles. "This is us and it's all that I could ever want." FP said indicating his little family with Alice.
