I like me better

Alice was driving back to Riverdale after travelling down the East Coast to report on a murder. She was really tired and turned the radio on to keep her awake. The song 'I like me better' came on by Lauv and Alice loved this song so she turned it up. She sang out the chorus and realised when she was singing the words 'I like me better when I'm with you' that she thought of FP.

Alice and FP had recently got back together after she returned from the farm. Alice really missed FP while she was away and couldn't wait to get back to him.

Alice was just approaching Riverdale and her headlights lit up the Riverdale sign which had been vandalised with the words 'a town full of pep' crossed out and replaced with 'a town full of murder'. She stopped her car and stared at it knowing that her husband was the reason that was written there because he had been Riverdale's worse serial killer. She shook off the feeling and busied herself singing 'I like me better'.

It was well past 2am when Alice got back so she tried to get into the house as quietly as possible but to her surprise FP was sat reading a book and waiting up for her.

"Honey, what are you doing, it's 2am!" Alice said putting her hand on FP's shoulder.

"Al! You're back!!" FP leapt up and kissed Alice passionately.

"Wow, I missed you too." Alice said pulling away. "I'm really tired, can we just go to bed?" Alice said to FP and they got into bed and Alice nestled up to FP.

"I was listening to 'I like you better' in the car FP and I realised that I love me better when I'm with you." Alice said looking up at FP's brown eyes.

"So you were listening to the radio." FP said almost saying it to himself.

"What?" Alice asked resting on her elbows now and looking at FP.

"I rang the radio station and requested that song because I know you love it." FP said smiling Alice.

"FP, that's so sweet. I love you."
