FP stood in shock, he couldn't believe that the Alice Smith who tried to kiss him yesterday was having an affair with his English teacher. Maybe FP was jealous and that was why he was so shocked. But the real reason FP was so shocked was that he loved Alice with every piece of his heart.

Alice came out and was surprised to see FP outside.

"Oh, um, FP, what are you doing here?" Alice said fixing her hair.

"I-I-" FP trailed off and walked away from Alice before he could say anything else. He felt angry, like really angry. How could Alice be doing this: acting like nothing happened when she just kissed their teacher. How could Alice lean into kiss FP and then the next day kiss someone else?!

FP avoided Alice the whole day and even ate lunch with the bulldogs and not Hermione, Fred and Alice like he did every single day.

"Why is FP having lunch without us?" Fred asked.

"He's been blowing me off all day," Alice said sighing.

"Are you feeling better?" Hermione asked Alice trying to change the subject.

"What?"

"Are you feeling better? You said you stayed at FP's last night because you felt ill."

"Oh right, my head still hurts but yeah I'm feeling fine." It really bothered Alice that FP wasn't talking to her. FP was her best friend and she had never told anyone about her father.

They carried on eating lunch and talking. Alice saw that FP got up and so she excused herself and followed him. He went into the boys bathroom so Alice followed him. She cornered him in a stall.

"Hey! What the hell are you doing?" FP asked.

"Why are you ignoring me? What did I do exactly?!" Alice said staring at FP angrily.

"Just leave Alice."

"Not until you tell me what's going on!"

"Alright you want to know what's wrong." FP shouted and Alice nodded. "I'm madly in love with you, have been since we were kids and I probably always will be. I consul you and listen to your problems every god damn day. I let you sleep over last night after hugging you while you sobbed and then I see you kissing Mr Anderson the very next day!"

"You saw that?" Alice asked taking a few steps back.

"Yes I did." FP said with a small voice.

"I have to go." Alice said.

"Wait!" FP shouted after her but she'd already left.
