Reunited

Alice had spent 6 months in the farm undercover for the FBI after finding Charles. She was relieved that today was definitely the last day she would be stuck in the farm because Charles has got enough evidence to prosecute Edgar and Evelyn.

Alice woke up that day with a new sense of life. She was no longer worried about when she'd be let out but excited to live her life again. She still had to act under Edgar's charm which she didn't mind because she knew it would be the last time.

She phoned Charles to let him know everything was good and as they planned. Alice had already gotten both the twins out undetected by Edgar and so she wasn't too nervous for the next part.

Alice sat in her room until she heard the door break open. Stood at the door wasn't Charles like she expected but FP Jones. Alice hadn't spoken to FP since he had told her he didn't love her so Alice's breath stuck in her throat.

"Is everything ok? Where's Charles?" Alice asked, worriedly.

"He's fine, he wanted me to come and get you." FP replied smiling at Alice and holding his hand out. Alice took his hand and walked out into the hall just as Charles was arresting Edgar.

"You two take my squad car, I'll ride with another officer and Edgar." Charles said.

"Ok, son." FP said which shocked Alice and tears welled up in her eyes. FP looked down and asked Alice if she was ok.

"I'm fine." She said, "I just love that you love our son." Alice said still holding FP's hand.

"Let's get home." FP said.

Alice and FP had been on the road for half an hour and neither of them had said anything.

"I think I need to explain." Alice started and FP nodded and smiled. "I'm sorry I couldn't tell you about Charles but believe me it's all I've wanted to do for such a long time. I don't know if you still feel the same about Gladys but it's-"

"I don't, Alice. I was just trying to do what was best for my children." FP interrupted "and when Charles told me who he was I felt so bad for saying that Gladys was the mother of my children when you are also the mother of one of my children." Alice smiled back at him and she put one of her hands on FP's leg.

They got back into Riverdale and Alice and FP got out of the car.

"I'll only stay here until I find a place for myself and Betty." Alice said walking into her old house. "I'll sleep on the sofa too." Alice added.

"No, I'll sleep on the sofa." FP said.

"Ok, thanks." Alice said. "I missed you so much you know." She said walking up to FP.

"Same, Alice?"

"Yeah."

"I love you."

"I love you too."
