"Lili." Alice replied.

"That's beautiful." The doctor said taking Lili away to clean her up.

"I'm so proud of you, Alice. She's beautiful and I can't believe you created something so perfect. I'll forever be in debt to you." FP said with tears in his eyes while holding Alice's hand.

"Thank you but I couldn't of done it without you, literally!!" Alice joked and FP chuckled.

The doctor brought back Lili and handed her over to FP while Alice took a nap. FP had no idea how long Alice was napping because he was so entranced by his daughter. The doctor quietly came in which FP didn't even notice.

"We need to take Lili off for some routine checks."

"Ok." FP responded handing over his daughter.

He sat next to Alice the whole time Lili was gone and held her hand but soon he fell asleep too. FP awoke to Alice getting up.

"What's going on?" FP asked, still half asleep.

"I'm just going to the daycare ward to see Lili. I didn't want to wake you but you can come if you want."

"Yeah ok." FP said taking Alice's hand. They walked slowly down the ward together looking into all the delivery rooms with the sound of babies crying ringing out from each one. They finally reached the daycare section and spotted little Lili in her cot. She was the smallest baby in there but was the only one asleep. "I love her so much." FP said intently looking at his newborn baby girl. Alice loved how much FP adored their daughter and seeing him as a father.

The doctor approached them and gave them the all clear to go home.

A little while later FP was getting Lili out of the car as Alice eased herself out. They got into the house and Alice went over to the sofa.

"You ok?" FP asked.

"I'm perfect." Alice replied with a relaxed smile.

Someone knocked on the door so FP opened it.

"Hey!!" Hermione enthusiastically said.

"Shhh" FP said. "Alice and Lili have just got to sleep."

"Oh sorry." Hermione whispered as she crept into the house.

"How did you even know Alice had the baby?" FP asked Hermione who was now in the kitchen so not to make any noise.

"Your doctor was my sister."

"Ohh." FP said. "I don't think I've ever felt a love like I do right now."

"It's the best isn't it."

"It certainly is." FP said, wistfully looking at Alice and Lili.
