Chapter 9 - Don't Run

Sarah's P.O.V.

Barry and I were currently on our honeymoon in Hawaii, we were by the beach, having drinks with tiny umbrella's in them. We were having a lifetime before the S.T.A.R. Labs panic mode alert and it was a level eleven.

Barry grabbed onto me and raced to S.T.A.R. Labs, where the alarms were blaring out and saw Ralph. "What's going on? What's the emergency?" Barry asked

Ralph nervously laughed.. " It's a funny story, uh, I was trying to watch Netflix, and, you got the picture." Ralph explained as Barry turned the alarm off. " I was gonna press that one next. So, how was your honeymoon?"

I stormed to Ralph. " I was supposed to be on a beach!" Barry pulled me back. " Where it's warm, having drinks with tiny, tiny little umbrellas in them!"

I lunged at him as Barry held him back. " You'll kill him." He told me as we walked out of the cortex. "You know how hard it is to run in flip flops?"

Caitlin's POV

It was almost Christmas. Barry and Sara was due to come home the day after tomorrow, and Cisco, Harry and Ralph were busy decorating the Cortex.

What are you doing?" Harry asked as he holding the end of Cisco's decorations.

Tinsel," Cisco told him before continuing to wrap the fluffy silver object around the oddly blue true.

Your tinsel to surface ratio is terrible," Harry added

Are you kidding me?" I've done extensive research to make sure that this tinsel is properly proportioned for this tree!" Cisco explained

It's terrible." Harry said

It's terrible? I'll tell you what's terrible. Your scrooge to grinch ratio is terrible." Cisco confirmed Harry

Well you know what?!" Harry said as he tugging the tinsel off of the tree. "I wouldn't touch you with a 39 and a half foot pole!"

Hey, Cisco," I called, interrupting Harry and Cisco's brewing argument. "Where's Gypsy?"

She had the holiday shift, but she hadn't been able to come." Cisco explained. "But! I think I got her the perfect gift. A gulag class mech knife, forged in the unholy blood fires of Earth 22 by none other than Wireless 2.9. Of course.. Gypsy should have sent something for me by now."

Awkward, I'm sure it's fine." Harry mumbled, before taking another bit of tinsel off the tree.

Uh... did Rudolph just diarrhea all over your tree?" Ralph said as he walked into the cortex

Oh, great, Two humbugs. It's a Festive Miracle." Cisco said

Oh, don't get me wrong, Ralphie loves Christmas,
I bring it in every year with my Nana. She never remembers me, but I'm getting that inheritance. Ralph shrugged as he walking over to observe the other side of the tree

You... you are just incorrect." Cisco added

Well, if you don't want to spend Christmas conning your grandma, you're more than welcome to join your friends at the West family party.." I explained

That sounds like a snooze-fest," Unless, of course, they're serving bacon soda!" Ralph said

Bacon soda!" Harry and Cisco said the same time. laughing.
