💫Twentieth First Pleasure💫
-------------------------------------------------
A life without passion is an empty life.
It's an old saying and as of now it still stands as one of the strong pillars of my beliefs. And for sure it's true. We all know that everybody has a purpose in his/her life.
Every human is capable of doing something extraordinary to explore the world within' and beyond us, to change the course of the world's beliefs, or to simply discover new ways of living life. There's no way that you're talentless, or that you can't do anything. You just need to find what you can do. You aren't necessarily a failure just because you haven't found your passion yet. It'll all come due in time.
Look around you, what do you see?
Nature, life, world, society have always been like unsolved rebuses that immediately draw us in, in hopes of piquing our interests, sparking our curiosities more into these subjects. All of them are for a sole purpose. For you to involve around these matters trying to figure what to do and once you do figure it out hold onto that.
Never lose sight of that.
Being able to express yourself clearly through one thing can help you establish your true identity. I think that is the source of your passion. You provide to passion commitment and passion repays you back with complete acknowledgment of yourself. You become the purest form of your heart's fire.
With that being said it means that passion is a tool into learning how to love.
The fire that emits when you talk about something you feel connected to, it helps realize you and what your potential could be. It helps fall in love with what you do because you know it's important, thus making you feel passionate.
Like for example...
Science has always been something that pulls me in. I'm excellent at it, but I don't want to sound that pretentious, so yeah I'm good at it. But I didn't give too much thought at it before. Always overlooking it as something I was just good at, I didn't realize it is my passion.
But now I've come to a decision. I really want to pursue and find a career for this. Now you might be questioning...
How?
It all started that day when I figured out my goal in life to become a doctor that helps her family in sickness and other people in need of it.
My first inspiration actually originated from my parents. They're both doctors. When one day I visited my dad on his work, though his hectic schedule, tough patients, and delicate operations I saw passion, love, and admiration for what he does.
Besides that, a doctor's life is pretty difficult. You need to juggle both family and career, making sure each is healthy relations and to take care of spending enough time with all to be happy. A doctor has life on his hands. It's a great responsibility, but I'm hoping if I put into the same love, passion, dedication that my parents have harvested in this profession, I want to do this.
That's how I decided.
Another thing I'm passionate about is art. Yes, I love it a lot, but it's more like a secondary thing now to me. Art evolves around literature, music, and art as in painting and sculpting. To me, writing is more like a hobby. I write to express my feelings on a certain matter, alongside the story behind those feelings. But it really has helped me a lot. I feel like I lack a lot of words, and because of that, I want to find other ways of communicating without the need of sounding a single word.
Writing tells a powerful story with hidden morals through the power of words crafted gently in an astounding way.
Music is the art of speaking universally with music notes and rhythm, no words needed. It's deep, meaningful, and takes your breath away with the diverse genres it offers.
Painting is selecting the best hues of color which in a way connects with our mood and then splashing it all onto paper to portray it all in a beautiful piece that holds meaning.
Even though it isn't my prime passion anymore, this was where I started at first. I needed to know myself better in order to find out what I want to do for myself. Even today these three still help me in my journey of self-love and self-realization.
This is a nice starting point for everyone.
Now comes the hardest part, commitment. Yes, you'll have tons of obstacles on your way that will make your journey more difficult. Sometimes parents won't let you be who you think you want to become. You mustn't dither, you must continue your way head-on.
Show them, prove everybody each day little by little what you're capable of because of this passion. As I said passion helps you to express yourself, so be open. Your imagination plus creativity with all parts of you will breakthrough by showing your true talent.
Never give up on it.
One day, they'll accept it and let you follow your passion because they realize now who you aspire to be. Each day master something new, find a new reason why you must create an identity for yourself, continue to hope on becoming the best, push the limits of your talent (but don't overdo it!!)
Be a follower of your own. Follow what your heart needs and what you love doing.
Believe in what you do. Don't think.
Become.
