-------------------------------------------------

The two opposites of the ying-yang cycle.

We live in the modern world. One that has evolved in many aspects and it's implying its changes to affect our surroundings and our human mind. Think of it, as a fascinating discovery. It's the way of life, something so simple we have no clue about. An insight into the real issue, the question is "What has happened over this time?" If you haven't noticed, above are some keywords that are similar in social meaning that have also lead to our main topic.

World, evolve, aspects, change, mind, human. They may all seem random words pulled out of the philosopher's dictionary, but they share a connection. Leading to the main protagonist which is you.

Yes, you. Y-O-U. Why you, you may ask?

Because you see, you are special and nobody is more intelligent, creative, funny, and unique than you. But there are tons of other you that make them more interesting.

How does that make you feel? Sad? Less special? Not good enough?

Don't worry it's normal, it's everyone's struggle these days.

Even though tacky messages like 'Love Yourself' or the classic 'Believe in Yourself' is like our everyday motto because of so many important worldwide peace organizations and influential people like BTS, they can be quite comforting. All of the above aren't the shallow and over-repetitive lyrics of a catchy jingle, it's what society tells you these days.

A fine spec of sugar that gives us sweetness in the salty sea we almost drown every day. The metaphor was a bit stretched. However, this is what one would describe as the overwhelming effect of society. Not just for you and not just for me. This opinion is shifting every day as new generations come and go, telling us what is right and wrong. Society is always going to be judging according to its standards and expectations.

While it's hard standing out in your own way, (without doing anything too irrational) as an independent individual in this world of fake equality, we get faced with so many issues and snap judgments that we aren't what we're supposed to be. Not right.

Here we are in the twenty-first century. While it's crazy to think how much has happened, we can agree that it is for the better. From being hideous, brainless, primitive nomads of the past that barely knew what fire was, to us today. The much cleaner, less hairy, intelligent, and civilized version of the people who are living in the era of the future.

Browsing through the history lessons seeing the steps towards this tremendous change I could only think "Wow, there is something definitely wrong with us..." or the usual "I can't believe people have done that!" Yes, people have done mistakes and it took a long time to realize that. The morals of right and wrong certainly exist and it was what caused people to do what they do, not knowing precisely which side should they take.

Generations clash as they try to set their ground by stating their opinion. Most of the old beliefs still linger and in an over-repetitive society of 'yes!' where people are supposed to blindly agree to everyone without giving any feedback or constructive criticism as it's considered being a hater.

Because everyone nowadays is free to speak by their own mind without having a gun on their head, stating their opinion completely unbiased. This can spark up a lot of sizzling topics that aren't everyone's cup of tea. Globalization has helped a lot with human enlightenment. Driving people to think outside the box and how they can be tolerant and open-minded considering all sides. Our actions reflected by our own mentality influenced the mark in our society. We are wrong and right on many things.

Atheism, lgbtq+, political interests, abortion laws, gender equality, etc. Should they or should they not exist? It's all divided by a fine line as we choose our own side and state our opinion. While taboo, in our time these are indeed fragile topics. Nonetheless, they should be discussed without things escalating to other levels when we start the name-calling.

Today's generation stands a huge amount of pressure and a big weight on their shoulders. Since they're the most exposed to these issues and stand between this thin line of agreeing with the above or not they don't how they truly "right' or "wrong" feel about the situation. We can consider all factors cultural, social, psychological, emotional, but none of it does the job quite as well as the ethics of society.

Like there are laws in nature the same rule applies to our society. Nature is built to be perfect mathematically and physically. It's tangible and static as it hardly ever changes. That is why people love it and want to produce artificially an environment with the same qualities.

However, it's only this is built with their entitled beliefs that must be absolutely right, no matter what. Humans like being in control while applying their touch to everything. However, one thing they seem to forget is that this hierarchy is sculpted by different minds, and if it morphs in a sudden change, there is nothing for us to panic about.

Since we are using nature as a comparison, imagine this.

The whole young generation as a plant.

Plants need the sun to grow and they will always follow the direction of the sun. They will get healthier and greener, but with never changing what they truly are by DNA. The simple fact that they are plants. Young people's minds will grow and look at themselves in the light of the future growing towards that direction, like a plant. Nonetheless, they still have a good foundation of basics and they will hold on that. Unless you block out this metaphorical sun, they will never grow and change. Otherwise, they are going to remain this rotten, uneducated, rude generation that is going to bring the end of the world faster.

So, does what is 'right' and 'wrong' change from generation to generation?

Change happens gradually and it doesn't change us, only the surroundings do as we try to adapt to them. To the old generation out there, it's cool that you're actually looking out for us, but don't let us be trapped in what is "right" for you. In the twenty-first century, every person out there should learn to love, to be loved, to find our true purpose, to accept, and to go towards a better future. This is indeed right for us.
