💫Ninth Pleasure💫

-------------------------------------------------

On a normal daily basis, we have the usual routines that we do throughout the day. Human beings in order to fulfill their needs have to communicate.

Why?

Frankly, I don't know the answer clearly. Now please don't tell me that you can't communicate. Everyone can, it might just be a subtle way of doing so.

We are social specimens after all.

At the end of the day, you'll find people that pique your interest. That share the same or different way of approaching life.

And you start to feel not alone.

Both of you dig into each other, sharing and learning more and perhaps understanding. That doesn't necessarily mean that you're friends, but it's a good start.

Let's call it talking acquaintances.

All of us have a need to get something out of their chests, be it personal or not. We can't just keep it bottled up. It's not the human way or the best way in general.

The weight of your responsibilities, the constant buzzing of the outer world, the pressure put every day on you, the memories of the past that still ring your head, the mistakes and the regrets that still scar you today. It's all way too overwhelming.

And you're hiding it.  What has happened to your voice?

Your inner voice. It's forgotten, shut down so far away.

Because you want nobody to ever know. Putting on the 'I'm fine' mask, but you secretly hope for people to decipher the code to read the real message.

That of 'Save me'.

It's easy to hide what you're thinking, but it's even harder enduring it. It will wear you down one day. Talking acquaintances can help you more, I think. They know a glimpse of your life, but they don't completely read your personality.

These people can listen better at you while opening up. Their opinion isn't sugarcoated or biased to be what you want to hear. They will be sincere with you. Things and problems aren't things to be said bluntly. But sometimes we need them to be.

For the other person to understand your story better and also it makes you feel better because you need to let all out.

Friends and family can help too, usually better than anyone. But when the problem is way too big, you don't want to worry about them. That's why talking acquaintances help. You might be wondering who could this acquaintance be.

I can. I will listen.

Because I might have been where have you been, if not I can imagine and relate. Stories go two ways. They have two different truths. The one being your truth and your story, which is always genuine as long as you don't lie to yourself.

But there is also the acquaintances' truth, which helps you get a new perspective. It might be harsh, scary, and hurtful, but it's a truth, maybe that can help. Throughout this book, I'm trying to be your talking acquaintance. But maybe you don't trust me well enough.

It's OK.

In this huge platform of writers; authors you can find a lot more talking acquaintances. The first step is to open you to hear the rest will pour down. So, what are you waiting for? I'm all ears and eyes, what is on your mind today?

Let's hear your side of the story.
