She stood there for five minutes before bending down and looking on the lifeless bird on the grass. The storm had pass and in its wake it left the corpse of a bird who couldn't fly too high to avoid the rain.


She put her camera in front of her face and closed one of her eyes as she clicked to take a picture.


"It's getting late," she said as she slings the camera around her neck.


It was a gift she got four years ago on her seventh birthday. She always wanted one, because eyes are not enough to save all those images. She went home before the sun sets and sat for dinner when her mother called.
