Finally Found Her (Completed)

Chapter 5: Ella's

Ryder's POV

I told the whole pack all about Jasmine last night at dinner. The looks on their faces, full of happiness and delight, made me remember that I didn't just find my mate, they found their Luna. They all accepted Jasmine being human and promised they would keep anything super natural related to a minimum the night of the induction when Jasmine will be here...well once I ask her that is. It's tradition for the Luna to make an appearance at the Alpha induction, and accept the role as Luna, but that will have to wait until she knows about our world. 

I want Jasmine and I to get to know each other better and since we're allowed to go off campus for lunch I decided to ask her if she wants to grab something to eat with me. It was finally time for lunch and just like yesterday, I met her at her locker.

"Hey, Jasmine." 

I couldn't help the smile that grew on my face as she looked away from her locker and her eyes met with mine.

"Hey Ryder, what's up?" She spoke before breaking eye contact. Both my wolf and I could tell she was still nervous around me sometimes but that's natural considering the feelings are strong but so new to her, and she doesn't quite understand them.

"I was wondering if you wanted to go get something to eat at this place called Ella's that's down the street for lunch. I remember you said you wanted to get to know the town better so I mean if you want to go we can. I mean you don't have to if you don't want to, it's totally up to you bec-"

"I would love to." she said with a blush on her cheeks and a smile on her lips.

"You sure?"

"Actually now that you've given me a second chance to think about it...yes Ryder, I'm sure."

I laughed and nodded leading the way to my car. 

"Oh! I love this song. Can I turn it up?"

"Yeah go for it."

Jasmine turned up the radio and started rocking her head to the beat of the radio with a smile on her face. Not only was it cute, watching her get into the music, but I was happy we had similar music taste considering I love this song too. 

"What?" she whispered barely audible with a blush on her face. She had caught be staring at her. 

"Oh sorry uh, nothing...wait this part it my favorite." I said as I turned the radio up.

"It's mine too!" she beamed.

We both started to scream the lyrics, me purposely sounding horrible, making her laugh, which has quickly become music to my ears. 

The rest of the ride was short and sweet as we pulled into the parking lot of the cafe. We ordered our food and sat at a window seat. 

"Wow is this place always this crowded?" Jasmine asked.

"Yeah usually. A lot of people come here for lunch, and it's been around since the town was first founded so it's pretty cool."

Little does Jasmine know, almost every person in here is a werewolf. One of the first families to live in this town was a werewolf family and the husband created this cafe and named it after his mate; Ella.

"I like it here. It's interesting that it has history. There is absolutely no history where I used to live, it was so boring." She rolled her eyes.

"Yeah there's a lot of history here. This town is packed full of stories, legends, everything."

"Legends? So they're not proven to have really happened?"

"You really wanna know?" I asked with a smirk.
