Jasmine's POV

I sigh in the mirror as I observed how big Ryder's sweatshirt is on me. It fits me like a dress. Our height difference is so distinct, but I love it. It makes me feel safe, protected. Butterflies soar in my stomach when my eyes meet with Ryder's in the mirror, as he comes out of the bathroom, making his way towards me. I sigh in content as he wraps his arms around me from behind. My eyes close naturally as he softly presses kisses on neck.

"Have I ever told you how much I love you in my clothes?" He whispered into my ear.

I smiled. "Yes, actually, you have. I don't get it though, it's so ridiculously big."

"It's perfect. Seeing you in something over sized reminds me how small you are. How I can just pick you up. I don't know if it's just me being a possessive mate but it's a reminder that you're mine. Not only because it's my clothes but because our scents mix."

"Huh?" My eyebrows scrunched in confusion.

Ryder chuckled at my reaction. "Your scent mixes with my scent because my scent is on the clothes. Werewolves have a keen sense of smell. Everyone has a certain scent. When we fully mate, our scents will mix permanently, letting everyone know we're both happily taken."

"This sounds so weird to ask but what do I smell like?" I asked him curiously.

"Like you look; beautiful. Vanilla and Spring. Sounds weird but it's amazing," Ryder paused before he started to play with the bottom of his sweatshirt I have on, "You can keep this, it looks better on you."

"Ryd, if I continue sleeping here as much as I've been the past few weeks I'll have all of your sweatshirts, sweatpants, and t shirts by the end of next month." I laughed, "I should probably start going home more..." I suddenly become insecure about the amount of nights, mostlyover weekends, I've been spending here. "I don't want to invade your space, or spend too much time with you that you get annoyed, or-" He cut my rambling short.

He looked into my eyes. "Jas, you're my soul mate," my heart skipped at beat at his beautiful choice of words, "There's no such thing as too much time with you. Actually, if you want, you could bring a bunch of clothes over and keep them here." He said with smile on his face but I can tell he's unsure of what my response will be.

I turned around in Ryder's arms. "Are you sure? I mean -"

"Yes."

I smiled while nodding my head yes. "Ok yeah, that sounds wonderful. Soul mate," I whispered referring to what he said before, "You know, I'll never get tired of hearing that. It's like I'm living a fairy tale. "

"So in other words, I'm your prince?" He intertwined our hands.

"In other words, you're cheesy." I teased.

"You love it."

"I do." I admitted.

Ryder and I walked downstairs hand in hand. I've gotten more comfortable showing affection in the pack house. They all understand how it is for mates and how physical contact makes my body feel at bliss, no matter how tiny the touch.

"Luna!" A young voice called. I dismissed it thinking the little girl is talking to Ryder's mom. I stopped when I felt a tugging on Ryder's sweatshirt I'm wearing. I looked down to see Sophia, the cute little girl I met the night of Ryder's induction ceremony. She held a brush in one hand and her hair is in a crazy bun on top of her head.

"Luna?" She asked this time much lighter.

"Yes, sweetie?" I knelt down so I'm closer to her height.
