Chapter 26: Luna

Hi guys! So some of you have been saying you can't read chapters 24 & 25, and I'm not sure why. I feel horrible that I don't know what's wrong. Maybe because both have mature/sexual content? I'm really trying to figure it out. Right now my best bet is that you have to be following me to read the chapters because it does have mature content. So try that! Ryder's POV

Jasmine head lays in my lap as we sit on the couch. I trail my fingers up and down her tan legs mindlessly as she tries to find something to watch on TV. My fingers sneak up my long tshirt she has on, up past her hip, to her waist, then back down to her thighs. I can tell my touch affects her much more now than it did before we completed the mating bond. Every once in a while she shivers due to the chills.

"Let's finish watching the season of that new show we started last week." I say remembering we never finished it.

Jas looks up at me nervously.

"What?" I ask her confused.

"Well..."

"You did not."

She nods her head slowly.

"You finished it without me?"

"I'm sorry! You fell asleep and a marathon was on and I-"

I shake my head. "No excuses. I'm mad at you." I try to hide a smirk.

"But babe," Jasmine whines, "You finished that other show without me!"

"But you promised me you wouldn't go ahead, and you broke your promise."

Jas sits up and sits in my lap wrapping her arms around my neck.

"You're not really mad, are you?"

I keep a straight face. "I'm not mad just...disappointed." I use one of the oldest lines in the book and watch Jasmine's face as it falls into a frown. Not being able to see her sad any longer I crack and a smile spreads on my face.

Jasmine gasp and hits me playfully on the arm. "You suck! I thought you were actually upset." She exclaims trying to get off my lap only to have me pull her back down.

"Jas, you really think I would be upset over that?"

"I don't know! Promises are things you're supposed to keep."

"Well I'm not upset. I just wanted to mess with you. You're gullible." I shrug.

"Ok well in my defense, now that I know werewolves are real, I'm starting to believe everything. It's your fault."

"Alright I'm guilty on that one, I'll admit it. Now come on, we should get ready go to the pack house, we don't want to be late for your induction ceremony."

I had made it known through the pack mind link that Jasmine and I had completed the mating bond, so she's officially Luna. The whole pack, including my parents, are all very accepting and happy that they have Jasmine as a new Luna, I just want Jasmine to see that.

"I'm nervous." Jas admits with a whisper looking into my eyes.

I smile reassuringly and wrap my arms tighter around her. "Don't be. Everyone in the pack loves you. It'll be ok." I smile reassuringly.

She nods. "And you'll be by my side the whole night?" she ask.

"Of course. I couldn't leave you even if I tried."
