[[Author's note: Once again, the majority of the dialogue between the characters who are not mine (which is all but Charlie) is from the SOA tv show. Also, I own nothing about this world and the people in it except for Charlie. Happy reading! If you liked it or think it needs improving, please comment down below and remember, this is a work of fanfiction based off of a fictional story. Thanks!]]

-Charlie POV-

I was sitting at the bar, talking with a few of the crow eaters after Jax and the rest of the club went in to chapel. I waited until my brother inside the room before I snuck from Jax's dorm but after my third shot of whiskey, I cared less about surprising him. I'd taken the first one for liquid courage to tell Opie I was with his best friend. Then the girls joined me and we started talking and I ended up taking two more shots. I was pleasantly buzzed and well on my way to getting drunk. I was about to order another round for us when the door to chapel opened and the guys came walking out. The first person's eyes I met when I stood were Jax's. He grinned at me and Opie came out after two more people.

"Opie!" I yelled and started giggling when he had a 'deer in headlights' look at the sight of me.

"Charlie?" I ran to him and jumped in his arms. He caught me effortlessly and held me tight. There was nothing like the bear hug of my Opie.

"Hey big brother!"

"Wha-what are you..how did...when did you get here?" he sputtered after he put me down.

"I got here the day before yesterday."

"You knew when we spoke this afternoon?" he asked Jax, who was smoking a cigarette with a grin on his face. Jax nodded. "Why didn't you tell me?"

"I knew she wanted to surprise you."

"Well," Opie said, "consider me surprised." He pulled into another hug and my eyes welled with tears. There were few people in this world I loved as much as I loved my big brother. As much as he used to tease me and pick on me, he was my safest place when we were growing up. When our parents would fight and our mom would threaten to leave all the time, and even when she finally left, Opie always promised me as long as he was alive, he would always be there. Opie, my Daddy, and the Club were the only ones I could count on. They were my family.

"I missed you so much," I said, my voice breaking when I started crying. He kissed the top of my head.

"I missed you too, Little sister."

The rest of the club was quiet, apart from the music, and I felt the eyes of the room on us. We finally pulled away and I wiped my face, sniffling until my nose stopped dripping. Opie cleared his throat.

"You should come by the house. Donna would love to see you. The kids miss you."

"Probably tomorrow if it's okay with her."

"I'll ask her and text you later."

I nodded and said, "okay."

We both found our father and went to sit next to him.

"What the hell is that smell?" Clay called. I turned and saw him and Bobby near the pool table.

"I smell it too," Bobby said. My eyes met Jax's and he winked at me, a grin lighting his face. I flushed, warmth from the whiskey taking effect. I was tempted, very tempted, to walk over and start making out with him but, before I stood I remembered I still had to tell Opie about us.

"It's a box," Clay muttered as Jax moved out of his way. Bobby reached under the pool table where a box with the smell of rotting meat sat he pulled it out. When he opened it, he pulled out the head of a very large and very dead stag. I covered my mouth and my nose, desperately hoping I didn't get sick. The new kid, the prospect, came running over and said it was his.
