Civil nearly gasped when Skylar presses his lips against Civil's, capturing his lips in a lustrous kiss that set his body ablaze. Civil's lips moved instinctually, parting ti openly accept the kiss that sent tingles throughout his core, his hands shooting up to grip onto Skylar's shirt. What surprised Civil more than the kiss itself, was that he wasn't resisting it.

However, in one swift movement Civil's panic set in, his heart racing in his chest as he quickly stepped back, letting out a small gasp. Skylar opened his eyes for a moment, that sweetness back on his face as he feared the worse, looking nearly as panicked as Civil.

"S-shit Civil, I-I'm sorry, I shouldn't have pushed you," he stuttered quickly, waving his hands in the hair as if surrendering. "I shouldn't have been so forward."

Civil blinked for a moment, staring at Skylar in confusion as he tried to settle his racing heart. "No, I just... I am with someone..." he said rushed, yet his words sounded unconvincing, almost like a question.

Skylar raised his eye brow, before quickly sighing, "of course you are, Civil I am so sorry for that."

Civil could see the shame in Skylar's face, and wanted the gone. Skylar was sweet, and his kiss though short was hot and almost as sweet as he was. It made Civil want to rub his lips until the tingling went away, making him flustered.

"No, Sky please don't. I'm sorry, I ..." he paused, knowing he was about to admit he liked it, "how about we just move forward?"

Skylar frowned for a moment, and Civil worried that Skylar would not want to move on. However, after a moment between them, Skylar stopped frowning, and forced himself to smile, until it didn't look so forced.

"Yes, how about I play you one more song and get a burger?" He asked, the sweetness back in his honey like voice, soothing the storm inside.

Civil took a moment to look at Skylar closely, looking deep into his warm eyes, and the kindness behind his smile. Even his dimples were perfect, giving him a boyish like quality to his features. Civil soon smiled brightly, and followed Skylar back inside the room, trying to ignore the lingering thoughts in his head about the kiss they just shared.

Civil wasn't sure what to do, though he didn't ask for the kiss, it still happened, and he knew he had to tell Elliot. His stomach churned like a violent storm in his chest, needing to grip onto the stool he sat on for dear life, watching Skylar pick up his guitar again and strum it slowly. His hair dipped slightly over his brow, his eyes focused intently on the strings, a small smile forming on his face as his band mates began to bicker behind him.

Owen was scowling at Ryan, who was talking about having a solo at their next session, and Civil could tell both men wanted to be the main attraction in the band. Danny and Skylar seemed more alike, playing for fun rather than fame, however, they were just as talented. Civil tried his best to settle his nerves to Danny's drumming, his heart pounding along with every hit. This song was his favourite by far, it was loud, aggressive, and made him want to stand up and scream along with them. He was shocked at how low their voices could get, saying words that melded into their music like a perfect melody.

Civil soon forgot everything that worried him when he banged his head along to the music, eventually catching some of the words to sing along to. The moment the final strike of the drum hit, he found himself standing and clapping for them, his grin nearly as bright as theirs.

"Holy shit! That one was my favourite, holy crap!" He repeated, laughing loudly as Danny threw he sticks to the ground.

She slid from the drum and walked up to Civil, throwing her arm around his shoulder, snickering as Civil blushed. "I like him, he makes us sound better."
