Chapter XXVIII

Final Chapter//

Two years later..

"Noona, faster,we might be late."
yaya ni Tae Young. I don't know where we are going. He was in a hurry that I couldn't understand why he's acting like that.
He dragged me to Namsan Tower. I was overlooking the beautiful Seoul. The lights are sparkling before my eyes.
The air is cold and I feel I will be frozen in a minute. The wind brushes my arms since I didn't wear any coat.
After our class,Tae Young said we have to go somewhere. He wants to go to Namsan tower.
This is my first time to come here up high. I've been here for three years and the next two months I'll be in Busan. I will be transferred since I'm doing a great job. But still I'm staying in my place. I was given a company car and I could travel there everyday. 
Chimsan Academy has three major branches in Korean Peninsula. At first I was offered to go to Jeju,since it's really far I declined it and choose Busan instead.
"Tae Young, wait"
We entered in an elevator. He pressed the button. After a minute,we heard the sound and the lift opened. We went out. We entered in a restaurant. No one is there except his brother. His two siblings were smiling looking at us.
Lee Young stood the moment he saw me. His eyes were looking at me. I looked around. Why there is no one in here?
He walked towards me.
"Why are we here?" I asked. He held my hand to sit and he even pushed back the chair for me.
The music played. It was favorite Korean love song. I always listened to that song before while I'm studying my lesson.
Outside there were beautiful fireworks too. I was speechless for a moment. I turned my head to him. He was now kneeling in front of me. He opened a small white box. A sparkling diamond ring appeared.
"Erin, it might be a burdensome for you but I just want you to know that I'm ready to be a part of your life. I want to share your burdens on life,laugh with you when you are happy,cry during your difficult times and always be there encourage you in your downfall. I will be there for you to protect,and love you. Will you give me the honor to be with you for the rest of your life?"my heart is about to explode. I haven't experienced this in real. I had my boyfriend and it was only him. I just watched this in some of the dramas I watched.
We are in relationship for about two years and all I could see him is being a respectful man. He sometimes get angry but never will hurt me physically. We got into countless fights but he never sleeps at night if we don't settle it.
" S-sure I will." I said in a low tone. I had a lump on my throat. I was about to cry.
He put the ring on my finger. It was really beautiful. He got up and hugged me tightly.
Jae Young played the piano. She was playing there with such tenderness. Jin poured the wine into our glass. Tae Young served the best steak I could ever have.
I laughed knowing how collaborative they are.
"How much did you pay for this?"I asked him. He smiled.
" I didn't pay. My uncle gave me as his wedding gift for me."
I laughed again.
"What if I didn't answer yes?"
"Well I have to pay."
We started to eat while talking.
"What about them?did they have their dinner already?"
"Yeah. They ate already. "
"Who's plan is this?"
"It's Jae Young. She said she saw this scenario in  kdrama. She recommended it to me. I was not expecting to be like this. Do you like it?"
"Of course. I love it. "
"We love you."
"And I love you all too."
"I never planned to get married after my parents died. I tried to forget myself because of them. I thought I couldn't get my first kiss to the woman I love."
"What? First kiss? "
"Hmm. I never had my first until I reached 32 years old. Funny right? But when you get drank,you just stole it "
I was filled with embarrassment right now because of what he said.
"I kissed you?"
He nodded his head.
"When I went to your friends house because you called me and if I don't you would die. I was at first curious about you. Your face remains in my mind and I can't you off. Then my heart was beating crazily the moment you slept in my arms that night and I kisses you accidentally. And I was a little furious the next day because you can't remember and my mind and heart is repeating that incident so many times and I couldn't even sleep that night."
"What?that's why you were angry at me that time?"
"Yeah,you seem so carefree like nothing happened. But you made a lot of reasons to love you. I thought I was wrong that night when I kissed you and knowing that I didn't love you. But now I realized I did my first kiss to the woman I love. You gave me reasons to love you and live my life with happiness and contentment."
"I'm sorry I didn't remember that incident until now. Why you didn't tell me before?"
"It is my favorite secret. I can't tell you because I was thinking you would get angry."
"I never drink before because I couldn't remember the next day. I had some drank incident before and I made a lot of mess. The last time I cleaned Jonah Lee's room because I was too drank."
He laughed at me.
"You're terrible" he said.
"Hmm. Would you still accept me?"
"Hmm. Unless you'll drink if I'm around."
"Of course. With you."
We stared each other for long. We finished our dinner and was sitting side by side while holding our both hands. He has warm hands. I checked the time and it was 11 in the evening.
"Let's go the kids are already sleeping. Look at them." I told him. I got up and walked towards the kids. I woke them up.
I helped him cleaned the table. When we are done,we went home together.
Before I slept,I looked closely to the ring he gave to me. I smiled.
"It looks good to my fingers."

Days passed and the wedding day came. We held it in my favorite church in Seoul. My family came over. The preparation was done just a week before the ceremony. We are both busy but we still give time to prepare all those things.
We vowed each other to live with our love and make life the best. I never had wishes before but this time I only wish we could the wonderful life ahead of us. Before,I have one path to take but now I have to take his path too. His and mine are obviously ours.
He came to my life with a lot of purpose. And that purpose gave him a reason to love me for the rest of my life.
Indeed,love comes unexpectedly. It is given from above for us to be with the person we actually don't know that we meant for each other. It gives reason for us to be with that person. Love is a short word in English but it made the world connected.
