BELLA

Johnny and I arrived on set at about 8:00 a.m., and thankfully Mila was nowhere to be found. That probably meant they were gonna make things up after shooting.

The director told us that today would be a long day of shooting. We would be filming lots of separate scenes throughout the day, and when it got dark, we would be filming kind of like a party scene, and we would do one of the kissing scenes.

I was nervous, but I really didn't let it show because Johnny wasn't showing any signs of being nervous, so I just agreed and went through the entire day dreading the moment.

It was Johnny's turn to shoot right now, so I went to my trailer and read through some of my lines, trying to memorize some. Hard knocking interrupted me from my concentration. "Come in!"

Rob, one of the other makeup artists peeked his head through the door and said, "Hey sweetie, you busy?"

I shook my head and put my script down on the bed. "Not really, I was trying to read my lines, but what's up?"

He sighed gratefully and took my hand, leading me out of the trailer. "Perfect! I need you to help me with a small favor." He started leading me out of the trailer and led me towards a golf cart.

"So they're shooting the movie Days of Thunder in set F and I really wanted to show one of the makeup artists how we do your classic red lip face makeup."

I gave him a confused look as the driver started heading to set F  I suppose. "But I don't have any makeup on right now."

He laughed and said, "Exactly, I'm gonna do your makeup over there, that way you'll be ready for filming later."

I shrugged and agreed, I didn't have anything else to do, so why not just help Robert's friend out. "Who's in the movie?"

"I think it's a race car movie, I'm not really sure. I only know Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman are in it."

I widened my eyes, they were both great actors. "So I suppose the makeup tips are for Nicole?"

"Yep." The cart came to a stop, and we both stepped down from it. Rob told the driver to wait for 15-20 mins.

We quickly made our way inside, and noticed it was completely different from our set. There were lots of designed pit stops and everyone was in full makeup and costume. It was amazing. Then suddenly, I felt a hard chest bump into me, making me almost fall backwards, but a hand quickly grabbed my wrist and held me up.

I looked up and saw the most piercing blue eyes, staring right into mine. Shit. Tom Cruise. "I'm so sorry, I wasn't looking where I was going." I stood up straighter and ran a hand through my hair, clearly embarrassed.

"No, don't worry, I wasn't paying attention either." He laughed and took out his hand for me to shake. "I'm Tom. What's your name?"

I took his hand and said, "Bella."

"Are you a new actress for the film? I don't think I've seen you here before." He had a very genuine smile, which made me feel at ease, thankfully.

"No! I'm shooting another movie here in one of the other sets, I'm just here to help my makeup artist with something."

"How long are you staying?" He asked quickly, but laughed and his face went a deep shade of red. Even though I could tell he was embarrassed, I found it cute. Who am I kidding of course I find it cute. He's fucking Tom Cruise.

I shook my head and giggled. "About 15 minutes, I have to go back and film."

His face dropped a bit, but then his eyes quickly lit up. "Listen, I have a scene to shoot right now, but how about-"
