BELLA
A week or so has passed, and I've been going out with Tom non-stop. I've had an amazing time, and I honestly couldn't be happier, he's taken a lot of stress off my shoulders. The only thing bad about this was the paps following us around ever since. We couldn't even go get a coffee without pictures of us being taken.
Johnny spoke even less to me, but he didn't seem as mad as he was last week. I knew we needed to talk, but I guess we were both just too full of pride for someone to give in and be the one who breaks the silence.
"Hey, babe you ready?" I hear Tom ask as I grabbed my bag from my trailer and locked the door behind me.
"Yep." He took my hand and gave me a small peck on the lips. I pulled away and smiled softly as he started leading me to the exit.
"I thought about going to the movie theatre tonight, then some dinner, what do you think?"
"That's perfect! Ooh! Let's watch Batman! It just came out."
He chuckled and opened his car door for me. "Alright, let's go."
It took us about 10 minutes to get there, so we got out of his car and crossed the street. Tom was talking to the lady who worked there to see if there were any available seats for the Batman film in 20 minutes. I held his hand and clutched it tightly as I felt the cool Los Angeles air come in. Tom noticed and grabbed my waist and held me tight.
That didn't last for long though. About 5 or 6 photographers quickly started taking multiple pictures and shoving their cameras in our faces. As soon as they started asking questions like if we were dating or anything like that, Tom led me inside and the manager led us to another booth where we could pay, keeping the paparazzi outside.
Overall I had a great time. I loved the movie and we had dinner in an Italian Restaurant, which was delicious. We stopped sometimes along the way to give some signatures to fans, which was pretty surreal. Even though I've been in the industry for about 5 years, I've never gotten used to it.
"At what time do you have work tomorrow?" He had his right hand on my thigh and his left on the steering wheel, which made me feel all tingly inside.
"I think tomorrow I can get there at about 9:00. What about you?"
He shrugged and said, "A bit earlier, like 8." He parked his car outside of the building and held my hand as we entered and got in the elevator. He kissed my cheek sweetly, which made me turn my head and kiss him on the lips. His lips started moving slowly against mine, but then started going a little faster, his tongue asking for entrance, which I gladly accepted.
This wasn't the first time we had kissed, but they were always just pecks and short kisses. I heard the elevator doors open, but that didn't stop him. He grabbed my waist and pulled me closer to him, and we stepped out of the elevator, his tall figure leading me towards my place. Right when I started fumbling with the doorknob, I heard Johnny's door close, which made me immediately pull away, my cheeks red with fluster.
Johnny stood outside his apartment, his eyes wide in shock. My face had the exact same reaction, but Tom's reaction was just pure annoyance as he stood there with his arms crossed.
"Sorry, didn't want to interrupt anything, I was just going over to Mila'-." I shook my head and looked at the ground as he entered the elevator and quickly pressed the buttons so the door could close.
I groaned and held a hand to my head. "Oh my god." I quickly unlocked the door and dropped everything on the couch.
"You guys still haven't talked have you?" Tom asked as he rubbed my shoulders.
"No, and that just makes this even worse."
Tom raised an eyebrow in confusion. "What? Why?"
I rolled my eyes and went over to grab a glass of water. "Well because I haven't talked to him about you and me, you know. He would normally be the first to know."
He nodded understandingly and made his way over to me. "Why don't you just talk to him?"
I rolled my eyes at the question that everyone has been asking me for the past almost 3 weeks. "It's not that simple." I pouted and looked down, which made him start kissing my neck.
"Why don't we continue what we were doing earlier?" I smiled slightly as he moved to kiss my lips. His hands were holding my waist tightly, and I moved my hands to the back of his neck. He had me trapped between him and the kitchen wall, which made me step closer to him. But as soon as he started to slip the straps of my short off, I stopped him.
He looked confused, so I quickly said, "Look Tom I- I want to take this slow."
He nodded and apologized. "I'm sorry Bella, I went too far."
I chuckled and held his hands in mine. "Don't apologize, really."
He kissed my knuckles and whispered. "We'll take this slow, alright?"
I nodded and hugged him. "Thank you, I mean it."
He shook his head and we started heading for the door. "Wait, you're leaving? We could just stay here and talk if you want." I said softly, just because I didn't want to sleep with him didn't mean I wanted him to leave.
He sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, "No, I should probably go, I have to wake up early tomorrow."
I felt my hopes get down, but nodded either way.
"Thank you for a great time, Bella. I'll see you tomorrow okay?"
I nodded and gave him a sweet kiss before he left.
I can't get the image of Johnny when he saw us out of my mind. He saw us making out. I mean sure, I had seen him and Mila tons of times, but this was different. I hadn't even told Johnny that I was seeing Tom. I mean he probably already knew from the tabloids, but it still felt weird.
I changed into my sweats and a tank top, took my makeup off and brushed my teeth. I don't know why I was feeling like this. Here I was, tormented, overthinking everything, and Johnny was at Mila's probably doing a lot more than just kissing.
I heard some tires screech, and I jumped from the couch to the window, so I could see who it was. Someone parked their car in one of the spaces, and saw Johnny stepping out of it, alone. I leaned over a bit more so I could see more clearly. He jogged up to the entrance and stepped inside, which meant I couldn't see him anymore.
Why did he come back? I wanted to ask him some stuff, but given our circumstance, I decided not to. I walked over to the kitchen and pressed my ear to the door, to try and listen when he would arrive. I know it sounds creepy, but I wanna make sure it was him.
I heard the elevator's doors opening, and his footsteps started getting closer. I noticed that my doorknob slightly started turning, so I moved out of the way, in hopes that he would enter, but he didn't. The movements stopped and I heard his footsteps start faltering, the his door opened and just as quick, closed.
I sighed and put my back against my fridge. I was sick of this.
