BELLA
This was it. We were done. We had officially wrapped up.
We had just finished filming the last scene for the film, and everyone kept hugging each other and congratulating everyone who crossed their path.
It was so hard to say goodbye. The rest of the cast made me really emotional, but saying goodbye to John Waters was extremely heartbreaking for me.
He had been a wonderful director throughout this entire filming process, and I was extremely grateful for him giving us the chance to work on this, I just hope I had played Allison the way he wanted her to turn out.
We walked over to the exit for the last time, and now I really wanted to cry. Johnny had his arm around my shoulder as he pulled me close to him. "It's okay, Izzy. We can work on other movies together. Doesn't mean this one's the last."
I nodded and tried my best to dry my watery eyes. I was really really gonna miss coming to work and have Johnny by my side. He was sad too, but he tried to cheer me up so there wouldn't be like a depression explosion or something like that.
This week had been crazy. We'd been working really hard trying to get everything from our apartments into some boxes so we could start transporting everything as soon as we could. We talked to Laura about wanting to sell our places, and she helped us and quickly sold them off, so we had gotten new money from that too.
The plan was to move every last thing from this place to the new place this afternoon, so that the moving company could help us get everything settled, and then we could spend our first night there.
Of course, Johnny got away with paying the whole house by himself, but after much time of convincing him, he agreed on splitting the taxes, which was better than not paying for anything at all.
We loaded the last of the boxes to the moving van, and they drove off while Johnny and I stood on the sidewalk, panting heavily from all the carrying.
I turned around and looked up at the building in which I had spent the last 5 years of my life. "Believe it or not, I'm gonna miss this place," I muttered quietly.
Johnny turned around as well and put his arm over my shoulder as he pulled me in. "I know. So am I. So many good memories here." I nodded and sighed.
"But don't worry Izzy, we'll make great new memories in the new place too. Plus, we won't have angry old neighbors who come and make us turn our music off for being 'too loud.'"
I laughed and shook my head, knowing he was right. It was about time we got ourselves a new place.
"Come on baby. Let's drive both of our cars to the house, and then while the guys get everything fixed up, we'll go take a walk or something."
I agreed happily and we each drove our own cars to the new house. This was about my fourth time here this week, and I was still in awe of how beautiful everything was. We left my car in the garage and left on Johnny's to go get ice cream.
We went to our favorite park and as usual, went to go get ice cream first. Then we went to the hill with the little lake just in front of it. I laid down on my stomach as I licked the ice cream, as Johnny sat with his legs criss-crossed.
"What do you think'll happen now?" I asked him softly.
He chuckled lowly and licked his ice cream. "What do you mean?"
"I mean like now. What are we gonna do now that we're not filming anymore?"
He raised his eyebrow up at me and smiled. "I don't know. What we always do when we're not filming. Lay around and do nothing until we find another movie."
