Snapping out of his shock, Vincent signaled John and the other men to lower their weapon, as he smiled to Andrew.

"Andy, what are you doing here?" Vincent asked.

Andrew's nostrils dilated as he glared at his uncle, "So, you are behind Dominique's kidnap? You are Carper!"

Vincent looked at him for a moment, and then snickered. "Of course, I am."

"How could you?! Do you know that Alex could have been seriously injured in the process?" Andrew blared.

Vincent kept laughing, "Well, Alex stood in my way, and I just had to get him out. You know that brother of yours will never allow me to have Dominique."

"Is that why you killed almost a dozen officers, and endangered the life of your nephew?" Andrew gritted, his teeth clenched tightly.

Vincent stopped laughing, and faced Andrew head-on, "Why do you sound concern? If I recall well, you don't give a damn about that brother of yours. He's always in your way too, right?"

Andrew's balled fist relaxed as the realization of Vincent's words hit him, really hard in the guts.

"In case you're starting to forget, Andrew, I'll remind you," Vincent said, as he walked to Andrew, and stopped at his side.

"Alexander has always been the favorite son, and this was obvious when your father handed over the entire company to him. As if this was not enough, the first girl you'll ever fall for happened to be the same girl he took as his girlfriend."

As Vincent spoke, Andrew's shoulders slouched. Everything he said was true, but still, Andrew knew that he never hated his brother.

Yes, he was angry at Alex, and he loathed the fact that Alex was better than him, but he could never wish his own blood brother death.

Gazing up, Andrew met with Vincent's eyes, and he could not fail but notice that nefarious determination in his uncle's eyes. He was well aware that Vincent always got what he wanted, whenever he wanted it.

"You're right, Vincent," Andrew asserted, his voice low and sincere, "but, I overlooked all that. I mean Alex is still my twin, and I love him so much. Believe me; I don't care about all that anymore. I just want to make sure that my brother is fine, even if it means I'll sacrifice my happiness and my feelings."

Vincent's smile fell, and he let out a pronounced sigh. "C'mon I thought you were tough, Andrew, but it turns out that you are a weakling like your brother."

A vein popped in Andrew's neck, and he pressed his lips together. "Just let her go, Vincent. Forget about all that, please."

Vincent laughed. "Do you really think I'll do that, Andrew? I guess you're dumber than I thought."

It was apparent that Vincent would not free Dominique to him; so, Andrew pulled himself together, and stood facing his uncle straight in the eyes. "You better let me have Dominique now, or I'll let the whole world know of whom you truly are, Vincent!"

Vincent laughed harder at this, and he gave a sign to John and his other men.

Before Andrew knew it, the men had gripped him, and shoved him down to the floor, and he was pressed to the rugged floor.

He immediately struggled to get their arms off, but they pressed him even harder to the floor, and they held him down.

Vincent crouched beside Andrew, and on his lips was a smirk, "If you so much wish to see her, I will grant your wish. This is because you were a really good lad, and I'm taking that into consideration."
