Dominique looked at her reflection in the mirror, and she could not help but let her red lips pull into a wide smile. Her hands dusted over the shiny black dress which hugged her body, perfectly highlighting the curves her shape. Her hair fell over her shoulders in beautiful tangles which dangled around her.

She watched the details of her face, and caught sight of the slight scar on the side of her forehead, and her smile slowly fell. It had been months, but she still recalled what happened that day, vividly.

That day, when she was held in the car with John, and they were being followed by Alexander and the officers, she recalled how John kept his mind determined to either escape with her, or die with her.

He was hell bent on never letting her go.

But, Alex was also bent on stopping him, and he wasn't prepared to settle for anything else but that.

Few months ago, on the day of the incident, Alexander's jeep slowly gained on the van, even as John kept at the highest speed, but Alex also had his feet hard on the accelerator, as he brought the jeep closest to the van.

Seeing that Alexander was closing in on him, John took the gun, and threw it to his lap, as he focused on keeping Alexander from getting to the van.

Minnie noticed this, and she looked into the side mirror, and saw that her boyfriend was also trying to overtake the van.

She looked back at John and saw that he was purposely denying Alexander the chance to drive to the side of the van.

However, her eyes brightened as she saw John tense up.

Looking back to the side mirror, she noticed that Alexander had cut to the side of the van, and he was up close to her own side of the car.

Soon, Alexander's jeep was moving at the side of the van. She looked out, and her gaze met with his, and he smiled.

"Minnie, you'll be fine!" Paul, who sat directly at his side, shouted to her.

Behind him, she could also see Noah and Joe, whom both had assuring gazes on.

John saw this, and he angrily picked up the gun, and aimed it at Paul and Alexander.

Alex saw this, and his smile disappeared.

Noticing the change in Alex, Minnie knew that something was wrong, and she looked to her side, but almost jumped out of her skin as she saw the gun in John's hand, aimed towards Alexander and the others.

No, she could not allow him to hurt any of them.

She had to do something. This was her fight after all. Alexander and the others had nothing to do with this.

At that moment, she knew that she had to stop it all. She had to stop John from harming Alexander.

No matter what it will cost her.

John's finger came over the trigger; his glare was hard on Alex, as he prepared to shoot at him.

Minnie firmed her jaw, as she took a deep breath and she launched herself on John causing his hands to veer the van to the side.

This sharp turn was too much for the van, which went off the road, and lost its balance, and toppled over.

Both she and John were thrown forward by the tumble, and Minnie thumped her head on the windshield as the van toppled repeatedly, breaking glasses as they were knocked around in the car. Her eyes kept spinning as the van kept on tumbling through the trees.
