Sergeant Higgins, we have contacted a recovery center for you. You are also provided an apartment by the government of the United States.

"Thank you, Corporal. You may send the details to my e-mail."

Have a safe day, Sergeant.

"You too, Corporal."

"So how is it?" Hannah asked. "Yeah. It is a start." Lenna said while setting down her phone. "I'm sorry I'm such a burden. I'll be moving out soon." Lenna sighed. "Lenny... You are not a burden." Hannah said while stroking Lenna's hand. "I sure feel like one." Lenna chuckled. "But you aren't." Hannah sighed.

---

"Do you want me to come in with you?" A week had past and now was time for Lenna's first doctor's appointment. "Negative. I have been in worse situations." Lenna said determinated and went out the car. "Thank you, Happy!" she said before slamming the door shut.

"Sergeant Higgins." a nurse asked from between the door. "I." Lenna said and stood up. "Sergeant Higgins is a woman?" a man asked confused. "Is there a problem, sir?" Lenna asked raising her eyebrow to the man. "It's just that... You are a woman! And your missions are the most successful." the man said now standing. "I'm committed to my job and I don't waist my time on assholes like you." Lenna hissed out. "Yeah, well what about your family? Who takes care of them?" the man asked again. "They are doing just fine without me. Now if you excuse me before I change my mind about knocking you out I have a doctor's appointment." Lenna said coldly before stepping into the office. The man stood in shock with his mouth hung open.

"Sergeant Higgins, my name is Doctor Cho." the young lady said while offering Lenna a chair. "I suppose we will meet eachother quite a lot, Doc." Lenna said while sitting down. "I suppose so. I'm just going to ask a few questions and then I'll confirm your recovery plan." Cho assured her.

"I have all the answers and I'm ready to confirm your recovery plan. Is there anything you want to say about that?" Cho asked. "Well it's quite lengthy process. Can't it be done quicker?" Lenna asked. "I'm afraid not. Unless you work more on your own but that could be risky." Cho said. "Well then it's good that risky is my middle name." Lenna joked.

---

Lenna, there is a strange man at our door. He claims to know you.

"Hen, I'm almost home. Did he give himself a name?"

I think it was Sam... Wilton?

"Wilson?"

Yeah, Wilson.

"I know that guy. We were partners in the army. You can let him in."

If you say so.

Lenna put her phone back into her pocket. "Happy, can you hurry up?" she asked. Her gut feeling said that there was something wrong. "Absolutely, Sarge." Happy nodded. "Thank you." Lenna sighed. Her gut feeling hadn't been the same since her last mission. It was more worried and always on alert.

When they arrived, the front door was open. "Can you stay put? If you hear anything then do something." Lenna said to Happy. "I'll come with you. I'm the head of security at my friend's company." Happy offered. "No. You stay here. That's an order." Lenna said with a stern face and got out of the car.

"Hen? Wilson?" Lenna called out when she entered. "It's good that you finally joined us." an unfamiliar voice greeted her. She quickly hopped to the living room and gasped at the sight of her sister tied to a chair. A man with black hair sat next to her on the coffee table. He was holding a gun.

"You are not Wilson." Lenna pointed out cockily. "It's a good observation, Sergeant Higgins. It is actually funny that you don't remember me since you left me to die on the field." the man laughed. "Private Walters..." Lenna gasped. "So you do remember. I hope that you will remember this too." the man threatend and raised his gun to Hannah's temple. Lenna threw her crutch at Walters with such force that it distracted him enough to let his gun fall on the ground. Lenna hopped at his side and punched him before picking up the gun. When she turned around to shoot Walters he had already gone through the back door.

"Han. I'm sorry. It was my mistake." she spoke quickly while untying the ropes that held her sister. "It wasn't your mistake. You didn't know that somebody wanted to get revenge on you." Hannah tried to calm her sister. "Did he hurt you?" Lenna asked while checking for injuries. "No, I'm fine. I'm totally fine. Who was that guy anyways?" Hannah asked while pushing Lenna's hands away.

"We used to be partners. When we were both still Privates. I thought he died... I let him down by running away from a contact."

"No, I'm sure you did everything!" Hannah continued to calm her big sister. "Well obviously not enough." Lenna scoffed and pushed herself up from the floor and onto the couch. "Could you tell Happy that he can go?" Lenna asked after a moment.

"Happy who?"

---

Lenna didn't sleep that night, at all. Her thoughts were back in Afghanistan in that night when she left Walters to die. She pushed up on her crutches and made her way to the kitchen for a quick drink.

When Hannah came downstairs the next morning she found a drunk and messy Lenna in the kitchen. "Lenny, is something wrong?" Hannah asked when she noticed Lenna's red eyes. "No, I'm completely fine! ...Of course something is wrong. I fucking lost my leg. I was forced to retire and I lost my friends and with that a part of me! I have no idea what to do or who I am. Army was one constant in my life and now it is gone!" Lenna cried while downing vodka like it was water.

"Lenny... That is not the way to deal with pain." Hannah said and grabbed the bottle from Lenna. "No!" Lenna yelled at her before she lost her balance and she fell off the chair. "Look at you now. What would mom say if she saw her brave daughter like that?" Hannah asked and helped Lenna up. "You know, I actually wish I would have died there instead of Roberts." Lenna hissed out through tears. Hannah had almost never seen her sister cry, only once before when their dog died. "Let's get you to bed." Hannah whispered to her sobbing sister.

---

Lenna stood on the graveyard. She had visited Roberts's grave and now stood on her mother's. She sniffed her nose quietly to keep the tears at bay. She gently caressed over the smooth stone before leaving the name behind her. Katherine Higgins...
