"And the man of the hour is here!" Tony announced, grabbing the donuts from his hold. "Well I wouldn't say the hour, maybe like fifteen minutes?" Steve chuckled. Lenna was reaching for a donut but Tony slapped her hand away.

"Why?"

"You, little missy, are in the hospital and should not eat junk food." Tony scolded with his mouth full of the sweet pastry. "Why did you even let Cap bring them if I can't eat any of them?"

"To make your life miserable." Tony dramatically said before handing Lenna a donut with a wink.

"Are you sure that you are fine?" Tony asked anxiously. "Yeah, Tony. I am fine. Steve is here and I'll probably sleep most of the time anyways. Go home and rest. I don't want to see you coming back with red eyes." Lenna chuckled weakly. Tony nodded and kissed Lenna's forehead before patting Steve on the shoulder and leaving.

"I'm sorry, Steve. He wouldn't go if he didn't know that someone was with me. You can go home though." Lenna mumbled. "Well I'm already here so I'll stay. Get some rest, I'll be fine."

"Tony?"
Lenna saw Tony laying on the floor. She tried to run to him but she fell down on the floor. She crawled to him.
"Tony?"
"You make me sick!"
"No Tony! Tony!"
Lenna saw disgust in Tony's eyes. When she tried to take a hold of his hands he pulled away.
"Tony, please..."
Tony pushed her away and stood. Lenna cried while all she could do was watch him walk away, not being able to follow him.
"Tony?"

"Lenna?" Steve whispered while shaking her gently. "Tony?" Lenna asked with a broken voice. "No, it's me, Steve."

"Where's Tony?"

"He's at home. He'll be here in the morning." Steve whispered while caressing Lenna's arm gently. "Steve, I'm fucking scared. Could you, please... Umm... Come up here?"

"Watch your language but yeah I can."

Lenna felt how tense and uncomfortable Steve was and she pondered whether it was a good idea or not. Steve opened his arm for Lenna to snuggle close to him. When she rested her head on his chest and her breathing slowed down Steve felt oddly relaxed and calm.

Steve's eyes fluttered open. "Good morning, Cap. It's good that you finally woke." Tony said from the chair next to the bed. "Tony... It's not how it looks like." Steve mumbled quietly not to wake Lenna.

"And how should it look like?"

"She was scared. She had a nightmare. She was crying for you Tony. And you weren't here..." Steve explained. "Oh so now it's my fault?" Tony asked harshly. "You know that's not what I meant."

Steve climbed out of the bed and walked out before Tony could say anything else. Tony didn't want to leave it that way so he followed Steve.

But Lenna woke up right after the door clicked shut behind Tony. She sat up and looked around. "Steve? Tony?" she asked quietly. She searched around the room for her phone and saw it on the table next to the bed. But it was a bit far. Lenna reached for it but the table rolled away and she fell on the floor. "Fuck."

"Miss, did you get hurt?" a nurse hurried into the room. "It happens more often than I want to admit." Lenna chuckled. The nurse helped her up just as Tony stepped into the room.

"Lenna what happened?" he asked hurrying next to her. "The usual. You know, me falling out of beds." Lenna laughed while the nurse got her on her foot and Lenna waved her off while hopping on the bed. The nurse made sure that Lenna was alright.

"I'm sorry Lenna." Tony sighed out. "For what?" Lenna asked confused. "That I wasn't here tonight." Tony mumbled. "Hey, that's alright. I can assure that I'll have more nightmares." Lenna chuckled and watched as the nurse walked out. "But you were crying for me. Steve told me about that." Tony mumbled while looking at his feet. "That doesn't matter. And please don't be mad at Steve, he did what was best for me at that moment."

"It isn't easy not to be mad at him."

"I know. Our first encounter wasn't very nice." Lenna had a smug look on her face. Tony gave her a confused look but Lenna waved it off.
