Sophie couldn't speak for a second as a turbulent force blew into her mind, knocking her backwards.

She could save Oralie.

She could save Oralie.

She would save Oralie.

A thousand thoughts swirled in her mind, as she leaned onto the ground.

Sophie would apologize for the grudges she had held.

A councillor would be brought back.

Somehow, it felt like everything was back into its place, but as she thought about it, she realized that there had been another crisis.

How had she forgotten?

Keefe.

But Mr. Forkle had made it out alive, hadn't he?

"W-what?" Sophie asked, head spinning with confusion and hope.

Mr. Forkle rubbed his head, and Granite looked uncomfortable.

Why though?

Wasn't this good news?

"It's complicated," Was all Squall said, before sinking into the grass even more.

Squall was Dex's mother, and her real name was Juline. When everybody had found out about her true identity, they had freaked and was not exactly eager to trust her. Even though she was part of the Black Swan. Like they were. Dex especially had a hard time getting over it, but now, they all trusted one another. Only Wraith and Blur was keeping their identities private. But she supposed it was for the best. Secrets were valuable, even though it made Sophie annoyed from time to time.

But the description so far about the plan didn't leave Sophie quite as satisfied.

Complicated? What did complicated mean?!

"You kids are probably tired, we shouldn't have dragged you here." Mr. Forkle groaned, fumbling for something in his pocket.

No.

She wanted to know how to heal her.

How to heal Oralie.

They were quiet for a few seconds, leaving Sophie to reflect on what had happened before. Recap.

Well, Keefe's legacy was one crisis. What had that led after that?

The alicorns.

Oralie's mind breaking.

Attacks.

There were more problems than she thought there had been.

And they hadn't even fixed all of them.

"I think we should tell them," Wraith spoke up. "We have enough problems already, and we need to act fast to get everything into order."

Nobody spoke for a second.

Then all of the Collective nodded in unison.

"Brace yourselves, anybody who thinks they are not ready for the new stress can rest first." Mr. Forkle warned, staring at each and everyone one of them. His eyes lingered with Sophie's a second longer, but she held still, not flinching, pure determination in her eyes.

"Then all the telepaths in the room, yes, everyone, including I and Granite, shall open our minds to everybody, the information I will tell you next is too dangerous to say it out loud. Keep in mind that though it seems simple, not all has dawned upon this theory." he continued.

Mr. Forkle then asked if there were any hesitations.

Sophie tensed as he transmitted to her.

Do you mind scouring the area for invisible beings? For a safe measure.

Sophie closed her eyes discreetly, covering them with her hands, and checked. The place was bigger than she thought it had been, and there was a vast pond bigger than any other, overlooking the whole paradise on a hill. Nothing other than that was particularly eye-opening, so she transmitted a quick recap of what she had seen.

Mr. Forkle soon closed his eyes and opened them again. Sophie realized he did it at the same time as the rest of the Collective. Probably confirming with them about the plan once again.

Then everybody nodded when he asked one more time if they were ready. Everybody nodded, even Mr. Forkle as he closed his eyes again as if he wanted to convince himself as well.

"Very well," he finally said.
