I slowly was dragged from unconsciousness by the nagging feeling that I wasn't alone. I opened my eyes and immediately looked to the door and saw the back of someone's head through a little square window. I started sitting up, trying to figure out why somebody was outside my door, when I got a pain in the back of my head and everything rushed back. The tesseract, the jeep ride, and Greeny. I looked around the room an took in where I was. I was laying in a small twin size bed in an otherwise completely bare room. It had a light on the ceiling and a small window covered with bars. I started to breath hard, trying to get air into my lungs. It only took a second before I realized I was hyperventilating. Counting back from 100, I calmed myself down, knowing what would happen if I became too freaked out.
The door opened,  and Greeny walked in with a smirk on his face and mind control stick in hand. He leaned on the wall across from my bed and looked right into my eyes, his startling green ones peering into me. "Why are your eyes such a strange color?" he asked. I looked him strait in the face and decided I had two options; stay silent, or annoy the crap out of him. I went for the second option, realizing that if it didn't work, I could always go with the other option.
"I could ask the same of you..... Greeny."I said as sarcastically as I could. He got an angered look on his face.
"You will NOT talk to me in that tone, mortal! I am your king!"
"I don't see a crown, so, you are obviously lying and have no power." His face was overcome with fury and then he was calm, putting a smirk back on his face.
"You see, that is where you are incorrect," he said calmly, glancing to the door, "I could make your mind mine in seconds."
"It didn't work last time, so why would your useless stick work now?"
"Or I could have you killed, slowly and painfully." He said a fake face of ease on him. I looked at the stick again, the sharp end buzzing into my mind. "So I will ask again, why. Are. Your. Eyes. So. Strange?" He said, punctuating every word. Looking into his eyes, I acted shy, glancing around the room and motioning him towards me with one finger. He leaned in, and I slowly whispered into his ear,
"It's a secret." Instant fury lit up his face, and he decided trying to use his stick on me again would be easier than trying to ask again. He poked me in the chest again, with a little more force than was needed, and the cold tried to take over again but the heat kept it down and made it vanish. He kept his eyes on mine, even when I winced from the cold, and he smirked.
"Your eyes became a brighter shade of orange, the color expanded in your eyes," he said curiously, "why is that?"
"Secret!" I sang in an annoying tone. He started to get angry again but then smiled.
"You will tell me eventually, and when you do, you will do it willingly." He smirked once more and left the room.

I waited until he had been gone for a few minuets and then slowly got up and looked around the room for cameras. When I did not find any, I looked out the window on my door to see the agent with his back to the door. As quietly as I could, I went to the window with the bars on it and looked again to the agent to make sure he wasn't going to turn around any time soon. I slowly put my finger to one of the bars on the window and thought about how upset I was at the stranger who had taken me from S.H.I.E.L.D. and watched a flame start on my finger and watched my finger turn red with heat. I put it to the base of the bar and started the slow process of melting the bases of the bar.
I periodically watched the bar and the door to make sure no one was coming or looking through the window, even though I was blocking my work with my body, I was certain to make sure no one would see this. Only two people knew of what I could do but nobody knew all of my powers. Having powers was hard enough, but keeping the fact that I was a mixed breed between two species that shouldn't exist was the ultimate secret that nobody could know.
I heard footsteps in the hall and I put the heat and fire in my hand out, while at the same time jumping to the bed and I tried to act like I had been sitting there the whole time. The second I had gotten situated on the bed, Barton and Greeny walked inside. Greeny went and stood in the same place he had the first time and motioned to Barton. I was yanked up and had both my hands held behind my back. Barton only had to use one hand because of how small I was. Standing strait up I was only 5'2" tall, and had took look up at most everyone around me. I decided to hide the terror I was feeling with sarcasm. it hadn't failed me yet.
"What's up, Buttercup?" I said, looking up at Greeny.
"That is not amusing, mortal." he said, keeping a blank face.
"Then you should tell me your name." I said coolly, "You didn't bother too last time we met." He ignored me and looked around the room. I prayed silently in my head *PLEASE Don't look out the window. * He turned in my direction, smirked, and looked at the window.
