I slowly wake up to a few people talking. Wait. People? Where was I? I kept my breathing steady and my eyes closed, faking sleep. I could hear the rumble of a large engine, probably a plane. I was laying down on something soft, and my head was laying in someones lap. Everything rushed back to me. Tony, Bruce, Loki, Steve's Look alike. They had all been waiting for me at the house. How did they find me?
I had been careful with everything. I avoided cameras, public places, city officials. Even if a camera had caught me, it would have taken much longer to register because of my new appearance. Even so, I haven't been anywhere near a camera in three days. If Tony had tracked that, they would be miles away from here.
The dream. I quickly raced through my memory of it. I hadn't told Loki anything! Even if i had, it wouldn't have mattered. It was a dream for goodness sakes!
"OW!" I heard some one exclaim. Twinsie? Is that you?
"Johnny, I told you that it would sting." Bruce mutters. Johnny? Why did that name sound familiar?
"You didn't tell me that you were going to dump the entire bottle on my head!" Twinsie- I mean Johnny says.
"I didn't. It was about three drops." Bruce says. "But if it boosts your confidence. then yes. I emptied an entire bottle of anesthetic on the large gash on your head." After a moment, I hear him add, "That you got from a five foot tall woman."
"Hey!" Johnny exclaims. "Nobody told me she could fight!" It takes all my self control to keep up the facade that I was asleep, and to not burst out laughing.
"Yes, but why did she fight?" Tony interrupts, serious. There is a long silence.
"I don't know." Bruce finally says. "She didn't really seem to want to fight us. She just seemed....." He searched for the word. "Desperate." He finally decides.
"Didn't seem to want to fight us? Are you serious right now?" Johnny exclaims. "She had no trouble beating me up." Tony snorts out a laugh.
"That is because you made two rookie mistakes. One: You underestimated her, and she didn't know you. Two:, and you better not forget this one, You called her kid. Never, and I mean NEVER, call her kid." Tony says.
"You called her kid, and she didn't attack you." Johnny points out.
"One: She has lived with me for over six months, she has gotten used to it. Two: She kicked me in the nuts. I'm pretty sure that qualifies as attacking me." I cannot laugh. Laughing would reveal that you are awake. Laughing would be bad.
"I am seriously glad that all she did to me was squeeze a pressure point right now." Bruce says with a chuckle.
"You laugh now, but you know that we are going to get hell when she wakes up." Says Tony. That shuts Bruce up pretty quickly.
"How did you knock her out? You guys never did tell me." There is silence.
"We weren't the ones who knocked her out...." Bruce says, trailing off.
"I was." Said Loki in a cool, even voice. A voice that was right above me. I was in his lap? How was this allowed? "When she began to fight with you three, I went outside, knowing it was only a matter of time before she defeated you. When she came out, i suprised her and put her under with a simple sleeping spell."
"I thought you had used up your magic on that dreamwalk thing." Tony says. I'm trying not to panic. That was real? Oh crapola. I kissed Loki. And he knows it!
"That spell takes hardly any energy to use." Loki says as if that is an explination.
"Well, how long do we have until she wakes up?" Bruce asks. Oh no. I bet fifty bucks that Loki knew that I was awake. Oh crap oh crap oh crap oh crap oh-
"About five minuets ago." Loki says casually. There is a stunned silence. I let out a huff of annoyance, open my eyes, and sit up. I apparently sit up to quickly, because my head starts to spin.
"Whoa. Head rush." I mutter, waiting for it to pass. When it does, I get a good look around the room. All three of the other guys were in chairs, and I had been right. We were on a plane. Bruce was sitting calmly in a chair, Johnny was laying on the other couch, a huge gash on the back of his head, and a small cut next to his eye. Where I had hit him was already turning black and blue, and I realized that I had just given him a black eye. Tony sat in a chair opposite Bruce, and had a ice pack laying on his...um...area.
I turn and see Loki sitting beside me, smirking. I frown and waste no time hitting him on the arm. Hard. He frowns and glares at me, rubbing his hand over where I had hit. "What was that for?" He asks.
"Seriously, Greeny? I was doing perfectly fine, and you ruined my eavesdropping!" I fold my arms over my chest and we glare at each other. After staring down Loki for a few moments, I hear Tony awkwardly cough. I turn to him after giving Loki one last glare, and wince when I see the Ice pack again. "Um.... "
"How much did you hear?" He asks.
"I woke up to Johnny whinning about the anesthetic." I say.
"How did you know my name?" Johnny asks. I turn to him, and he looks a little creeped out.
"I'm psychic." I say, narrowing my eyes on him. His eyes widen a little. I let out a snort of laughter and roll my eyes. I turn to Bruce. "He's gullible." I say. Bruce chuckles.
"He is just like Tony." He says, and I groan.
"Just what I wanted to deal with. A Starkified Steve rogers." Bruce laughs.
"That is one way to describe him." He admits.
"Hey!" I hear Tony exclaim, feining hurt.
"So, you can't read minds?" Johnny asks.
"Nah." I say. "Greeny can, but I, sadly, do not have that ability." I finish, gesturing to Loki.
"Oh." There is silence for a few minuets, and I sit on the couch indian style, playing with the ends of my hair. I feel like someone is watching me, and I slowly look up to see all of the guys staring at me while I play with my hair. Even Loki, which makes a little heat come up to my cheeks.
"What? Is there something on my face?" I ask, breaking the silence.
"No, It's just-" Tony is cut off.
"We are landing at the airport, sir, and a car is waiting outside to take you back to Stark Towers." Jarvis says.
"Noted." Tony says, and I feel the plane touch down.

The ride back to the tower was in a complete awkward silence. It was only in the elevator on the way up to meet all the others when someone spoke again. "Sue is not going to be happy about this." Johnny mutters, looking at his bruised face in the reflective wall of the elevator.
        "Sue?" I ask, confused.
"My sister." He explains. "Apparently you already met the rest of my team before you left." It takes me a moment to remember the people he is talking about.
"Oh. Blond woman, average height?" I ask, and Johnny nods.
"Yep. That would be her." He would have said more, but at that moment, the elevator doors opened. We stepped out, and the room went silent as everyone's eyes widened in shock when they saw me. The three people that I had met on my way out last time were here, and Sue's eyes widened even more when she saw Johnny.
"Johnny! What happened?" She asks, rushing over. She pulls his head down to her level and starts to examine his face. Her face gains a little more worry when she sees the giant gash on the back of his head.
"Ow ow ow. Sue, that is not helping at all. Ow. Sue!" Johnny says as she looks him over. She finally lets him go and takes a step back, hands on hips, waiting for an explanation. Johnny rolls his eyes. "I'm fine Sue. Sophie here can just hit a lot harder than she looks like she can." Her eyebrows shoot up and she glares at me. I raise my hands in a surrender.
"In my defense, the cut on the back of his head was an accident. I didn't see the table there." I say.
"They look fine." She says, gesturing to Tony, Bruce, and Loki.
"She kicked me in the crotch." Tony says.
"She knocked me out as well." Bruce says. Sue turns to Loki, waiting to find out what I did to him. Behind her, I see everyone else watching as well.
"She didn't do anything to me. I am the one who caught her." Loki says in a smooth, monotone voice. Everyone looked surprised, but Nat simply stated in a serious voice.
"Well, I'm glad that you did. Fury wants to talk to her." She says. After a pause, she adds. "And he will be here in about an hour." I groan and put my face in my hands. How could this day get any worse?
