I'm not going to lie. I screamed when I first jumped. I quickly shut up though, because the air was torn from my lungs. I opened the chute and after a minuet, I landed next to a rocky ledge. As I attempted to untangle myself from the chutes ropes, I felt a cold hand grab my shoulder from behind. I gasped as I was spun around and was ready to hit someone but then I noticed who it was. "Hey Greeny." I gave a short wave and I saw him laughing. "What's so funny? Never seen a girl in a party dress trapped in a parachute before?" he laughed even harder and I waited with crossed arms and a scowl on my face until he managed to calm down enough to speak.
"I can honestly say that I have never seen anything quite like this." He took one look at my disapproving face and burst out with another laugh.
"Well, when you finish cackling like a madman you can help me get out of this." I said in a sarcastic tone. He stopped and looked at me, humor still in his eyes.
"No," he mused and started walking away, "I think I will go watch the fight." he left me alone and I saw him go up to the ledge and sit down, instantly enthralled by the fight. When I was sure he was not going to look back my direction, I heated up my hand and started to burn through the ropes. I was almost out when there was a large bang and a blue light came up from about a quarter of a mile away. The force knocked me backwards and into a bush. I got up from the thorny entanglement, now with a dress that had quite a few big tears in it, and burned through the rest of the ropes. I looked up and saw the three men all standing around Loki and watched as they hoisted him up and started to walk towards the clearing about a hundred yards away where the jet was landing. I followed behind them, but stayed at a distance, watching them go into the jet. I was about to step into the jet when I heard Steve's voice.
"What do you mean she jumped out after me?!"
"It means," I said startling them all, "That I jumped out of the plane. It just didn't work out for me as well as it did for you." Loki chuckled at that and when I saw that he was handcuffed and strapped in, I went up to him and hit him on the back of his head. "That was for leaving me tangled in the parachute." I went up to Muscles, Tony, and Steve and did the same to them. "And that," I said as I turned back to sit next to Natasha in the Co-pilots chair, "Was for making me fall and rip my dress." Nat burst out laughing and the men just stood there, stunned.

We had gotten back to the helicarrier without another hitch, and I went strait to my room and got changed. I would have gone to the cafeteria first but I knew that I had a mini fridge hidden in my closet and it had pickles inside. I got on a t-shirt that stated "When life gives you lemons, squirt them in peoples eyes" and a pair of skinny jeans and went back out to the bridge. I saw everyone gathered around a table, watching Fury talk to Loki.
"In case it's unclear, if you so much as scratch that glass," he pressed a button and the floor underneath Loki's cage opened. "30,000 feet strait down in a steel trap." he closed the floor and gestured to Loki. "Ant," he gestured to the control panel. "Boot." he finished. Loki chuckled darkly.
"It's an impressive cage." he said gesturing around him. "Not built, I think, for me."
"Built for something a lot stronger than you." Fury said flatly.
"Oh, I've heard." he looked strait into the camera, still smirking. "A mindless beast, Makes play he's still a man." Everyone looked towards Banner but he kept watching so we all did the same. "How desperate are you? You call on such lost creatures to defend you." his voice got louder.
"How desperate am I?" Fury said in a low, angry tone. "You threaten my world with war, you steal a force you can't hope to control, You talk about peace and kill 'cause it's fun." he was stepping closer to the cage. "You have made me very desperate. You might not be glad that you did."
"Oh." Loki says dramatically, edging Fury on. "It burns you to have come so close, to have the tesseract, to have power, unlimited power, and for what? A warm light for all mankind to share? And then to be reminded what real power is." he glares at Fury.
"Well let me know if real power wants a magazine or something." Fury says as he walks from the room. The video shuts down.
"He really grows on you doesn't he." Banner says. I snort and roll my eyes, earning a glance from Banner.
"Loki's going to drag this out, so," he pauses and looks up at Muscles. "Thor, What's his play?" Thor? I remembered him from an incident a year ago.
"He has an army, called the Chitari. They are not of Asguard or any world known." he urns to face us. "He means to lead them against your people, and they will win him the earth, in return, I suspect, for the tesseract."
"An army. From outer space." Steve says.
"So he is building another portal." Banner says. I nod, earning a look from everyone in the room.
"He talked about the portal. I didn't hear much though." I said slowly.
"That is what he needs Eric Selvig for." I nod again, confirming his statement.
"Selvig?" Thor asks.
"He was an astrophysicist." Banner said.
"He was a friend." Thor stated.
"He knew the most about it." I said.
"Loki has him under some sort of spell." Natasha said, speaking up for the first time. "Along with one of ours." She said uncomfortably. I knew Barton was her closest friend.
"I want to know why he let us take him." Steve said, looking to me. "He's not leading an army from here." Before I have a chance to say anything, Banner speaks.
"I don't think we should be focusing on Loki, that brain is a bag full of cats. You can smell the crazy on him."
"Take care, how you speak. Loki is beyond reason, but he is of Asguard. And he is my brother." Thor said, anger in his voice.
"He killed eighty people in two days." Natasha said.
"And Hypnotized more." I added.
"He's adopted." Thor covered.
"I think it's about the mechanics." Banner says. "Iridium. what do they need the Iridium for?"
"It's a stabilizing agent," Stark says, interrupting the conversation. he turns and talks to Coulson for a moment before returning to us. Coulson turns and smiles at me and I smile back. He is one of the few that are nice to me on this ship. "It means that the portal wont collapse on itself like it did at SHIELD." he turns to Thor and hits him on the arm. "No hard feelings, Point Break, You've got a mean swing." He turns and sees me in the room. I give him a big smirk and a sarcastic wave and his eyes widen as he turns away. "Also," he starts, getting back on subject. "It means the portal can open as wide, and stay open as long as Loki wants." He gives a few orders to the crew and they go quiet, giving him a strange look. "That man is playing Galaga!" he suddenly yells, pointing to the poor soul. "Thought we wouldn't notice, but we did." he covers one eye then points to a area of monitors. "How does Fury even see these?"
"He turns." says Maria Hill, obviously annoyed by Tony.
"Sounds exhausting." He starts messing with the monitors. "The rest of the materials agent Barton can get his hands on pretty easily. only major component he still needs is a power source."
"When did you become an expert in thermonuclerastrophisics?" Hill says.
"Last night." he says. Hill gives him a look. "The packet. Selvig's notes." he pauses and looks around. "Am I the only one who did the reading?" he asks.
"I was being held captive so you can count me out." I say. Steve ignores the comment and turns to Stark.
"Does he need any particular kind of power source?" He asks. Banner and Tony say something else and start to talk back and forth about tech and science stuff and I hear Stark say, "Finally! Someone who speaks English."
"Is that what just happened?" I hear Steve say. I shrug and roll my eyes at him and he nods, agreeing with my action.
"It's good to meet you Dr. Banner." Stark says, shaking his hand. "Your work on anti-electron collision's is unparalleled, and I am a huge fan of the way you lose control and turn into a giant green rage monster."
"Thanks." he replies. He might have said something else but Fury walks in and starts talking.
"Dr. Banner is only here to track the cube." he says. "I was hoping you might join him."
"You should start with that stick of his. It may be magical but it works an awful lot like a hydra weapon." Steve says.
"I don't know about that." Fury says, "But it is powered by the cube. And I would like to know how Loki used it to turn two of the sharpest men I know into his personal flying monkeys."
"Flying monkeys?" says Thor, "I do not understand."
"I do!" Steve says excitedly. He pauses and looks around the room. "I understood that reference."
"Well," I say, getting out of my chair, "Now that we have that all sorted out, I want to know what I am supposed to do." Everyone looks at me then at Fury, obviously, a few of them do not know who I am.
"You are going to become an agent," he nods towards the group. "Same level as them, and you are going to help us take down Loki."
"No." I say. Steve raises his eyebrows in surprise at my fast and angry answer.
"You are not getting a choice this time." Fury says, glaring at me.
"This time?" Steve asks.
"I have asked her before, but now I'm not asking." he pauses and looks at me. "I am ordering."
"You do NOT control me Fury." I say, getting angry.
"What use would she be anyway?" Stark asks. "She is just a kid."
"I am not a kid!" I yell at him, getting more angry and upset by the moment.
"She has her own..." Fury pauses, looking for the correct word, "Unique abilities."
"They are horrible and you know it!" I'm so mad that my skin is stating to glow orange and red swirls on top in random patterns.
"What the....?" I hear Steve and Banner say at the same time.
"Calm down, Agent Crest." Fury says, slowly taking a step back. Seeing this, Everyone else does the same. "We can talk this over calmly and get this through, nice and easy." Everyone is backing up now, as my skin gets brighter and brighter.
"I AM NOT AN AGENT!" I scream, "I AM NOT YOUR PROPERTY AND I AM DONE WITH YOU TRYING TO MAKE ME SOME SORT OF PET, TO COME AT YOR BECK AND CALL." and on that note, I burst into flames and lunge towards Fury. From behind me, someone dumps water on my back, putting out the flames on my skin. I collapse into a heap on the floor and attempt to take a few deep breaths, trying to calm my system down. I feel a warm hand on my back and I look up. Stark, Natasha, Banner, Steve, Fury, and Thor all stand in a circle around me. Coulson has started to rub my back, knowing it helps me calm down. They all have wide eyes except Coulson, who was obviously the one who had gotten the water when he saw me start to get angry. "Thank you." I say quietly to Phil. I then look at everyone else. "Sorry." I say a little louder. "I lost control." Natasha slowly helps me up and helps me start to walk to my room. before we leave though, I hear Stark say,
"Somebody is obviously in the bad time of the month." Every female in the room whips round to glare at him, and Steve widens his eyes and hits him on the back of the head. Before Natasha can get to him, I use my water powers to make all the leftover water that was on the floor from my flame out, get into a large ball that hovers above his head. I have my hand up to keep it from falling just yet and he has turned to Banner, completely oblivious. he notices Banner staring over his head and he looks up."Wha-" I drop the water on him, completely soaking him, and everyone in the room is in shock at what I just did. Natasha breaks the silence by falling to the floor in a fit of laughter, and Stark turns to me, glaring and obviously furious. I give him a big smile and turn, starting the walk towards my room. Half a second later, I am on the floor, to weak to get up. I hear a bunch of footsteps rushing over to me but I am enveloped by blackness, having fallen unconscious from wasting to much energy. Oops.
